Safi Lance tips
I'm building a Blast Safi Lance. So far it has the Teostra buff so I can get 3 piece Teostra set bonus as well as 3 piece Safi set bonus. Affinity V and Affinity VI along with Sharpness V. Should I go for raw attack for the final one or something else?

Here's the meta set:

Affinity is bad because you can easily get 100% affinity from armour skills so it's better to get the attack increases instead.

Teostra essence is bad because there aren't any armor pieces that you can slot in that have a significant gain over attack V.

Alternatively, just get the raging brachy lance instead and you're set.

Eh, I don't have all of the decos required for that. Even so I've never been one to go with meta builds. I prefer what's comfy to me.

Lance main here

Raging brachy lance with HP/defense augment
3 pc Teo set to maintain that (20 hits?) of purple sharpness
chest is rex roar
legs are Garuga

Primary skills are Crit Eye - Agitator - Attack - WEX - Crit boost - Guard up - Off. Guard - Health Boost - one point in flinch free - Guard 3

For encounters that require some other defensive deco like effluvial or anti blast I sacrifice one of my offensive guard/attack gems.

Safi passive makes me nervous, and I don't have enough furor deco's for resentment.

You don't absolutely need to follow the meta set, they can just serve as guidelines as you probably won't have all the decorations needed and can replace whatever is missing with what you have/like.

The more important part to look at is the augments, ability awakens, and armour pieces used. Decorations are just use what you got/like.

You can swap the attack decorations with critical eye, vitality, or divine blessing for example.

Why RBrachy Lance? Personal preference or is it better? I noticed it had better decoration slots.

It's easier to craft or a lesser grind more or less than rolling for the correct abilities on safi lance and has 30 hits of purple sharpness while safi only has 20 with 2 sharpness V while only being 1-2% weaker.

Raging Brachy is more or less equal in power to Safi with Sharp V, Sharp VI, 3x Attack V. But it has the extra 3 slot deco.

Meta Damage Safi swaps Sharp VI for Attack VI. (2x SV, 2x AV, 1x AVI) for a smaller purple bar but higher attack power.

Teo skill Safi (for multiple skill usage like 3x Teo, 3x Safi) runs either
No purple sharpness version with same attack power (Teo, SV, 2x AV, 1x AVI)
or lower attack power version with same purple sharpness (Teo, 2x SV, 1x AV, 1x AVI)

Off-meta Ancient Divinity Safi (status boost on critical hit) variant also works with 3 piece Teostra Crit builds specifically with status lances. (Ancient Divinity, SV, 2x AV Status Effect VI)
Lower damage and no purple sharpness, but very economical status proc chance.
Swap Teo Waist for Artian waist, wear Teo Chest instead of Rex Roar, and Garuga or Raging Brachy Legs.

This is definitely not Meta, but I prefer balance between comfy and decent damage
Equipment:
Safi Shattersnout 3 x Attack V + 1 x Sharpness V +1 x Attack VI
2 x Fellshroud (Chest and Arm) That health regen is pretty useful
3 x Damascus
Skills:
4xCrit Eye
2xCrit Boost
3xOff Guard (From Decos)
5xDefense
3xRec Speed
5xGuard
Guard Up
3xQuick Sheath
3xHealth Boost
