Is there a lot to do after Zorah Magdaros? Even if you dont have Iceborn?
I've never made it to endgame, I've beaten Zorah once and stopped playing. Is there a lot to do after beating zorah, even if you dont have Iceborn DLC?

Zorah is about half-way into story mode.

I'll be honest, i had no idea Zorah was only the half way mark.

After him you enter high rank which has new monsters and a new area.

the base game is kinda spilt into 3 parts, Before Zorah 1, Zorah 1-2, and after Zorah 2.

zorah is only 1/2 way thru the story line. and there are lots of new monsters after endgame.i would say u r missing out at least 2/3 of the game

The second half of the story, the post story, all the optional and event stuff, grinding for decorations.

Then there's Iceborne where you get to do all of that all over again.

The main story took me about 30-45 hours. Even after that, there is lots of stuff to do.

I like to imagine OP thought we were arming nergigante on zorah's back for over two years

Yeah you have a lot to go... Zorah is the mid-boss. There's a ton left - you basically just entered high rank. You have a ton of monsters you haven't fought and I believe two new maps.

that's like half way thru the story, if you don't plan to buy iceborne, there is still alot to do after you finished the game, decoration farming, arena if you're into that, hunting tempered/arch-tempered(AT) monsters for best armor of base* game, with tempered monster you get pre-iceborne augmentation which you farmed for as well, then layered armor farming. Currently you can do all of this with the festival for 1 month. but if you do buy iceborne, dont hunt low/high rank tempered/AT monsters, it becomes useless but if you want to collect that's up to you

Hey man, it's spikes can regenerate, it takes a while to break through all of that

Half of story, and nine tenth of the farming. After the story, you unlock tempered monsters, which are harder versions of previous monsters with more damage and couple new moves, that drops rare decorations. You can also augment your weapons with rare drops, and the endgame is killing archtempered monsters in event, which are even harder, but allow you to craft some sweet sweet armor.
I just diverted zorah magdaros to the ocean, what to do next in iceborne? is the story over.:steamsad:
