Spring Bloom/Full Bloom Event Confusion

I've recently started playing MHW with Iceborn installed, I've not yet completed the campaign.

However this week my handler and Poogie are wearing bee outfits, yet everywhere online I'm seeing everyone in Rose outfits and the game looks completely different to mine... Am I missing something here?

Full Bloom Festival takes place in Seliana ( Iceborne)

The events for pre-IB are the old ones they had throughout the year, once you clear vanilla game and reach IB the rose event is there.

Also worth noting is that obtaining the tickets unlocks the option to craft the items from the smithy. Even if the event is over, even if you spend all your tickets, the items will still be unlocked at the smithy and still show throughout the year. It's the same as obtaining any monster part to unlock their respective armors.

So, focus on getting all the tickets/seasonal stuff you'll need first. Then, once you have all that you'll need, you can take your time gathering any other non-seasonal materials.

Best method I've found is to get full seasonal armor, then add in Botany, Geology and Master Gatherer from the charm. Since the armors come around when all the old events are up the best quest to take with only these skills is Flora Frostbite. Travel to Camp 15, toss on the Assassins Hood for a bit of extra speed and quickly finish the quest. Not only is it the fastest quest to finish in the game with these easy to add skills but you also have a chance at some nice Decoration rewards.

Just complete any event quests that offer "special rewards". It's stated in the quest text if they do so.

Thanks for the advice all, jumping into the game and then having a seasonal event did make it a lot to try and take in so I appreciate it.
