Exhaust Question

I have a couple questions about exhaust.
So, blunt weapons obviously excel at this and HH is the king of exhaust. This, I know.

But if you use the stamina thief skill, does it significantly boost other weapons ability to exhaust? Or is it an exhaust multiplier that will have no real noticeable effect on weapons with low exhaust, like LS? Like having crit element on a weapon with very low elemental dmg?

I'm curious about trying a deviljho stamina thief secret build with bow. I used to main HH and exhaust is very under-appreciated. It's actually quite nice.

Exhaust is kind of dead in the water because most elder dragons are immune to it.

i main HH how dare u switch to bow :D i say make the set its good for so many monsters it makes them fatigue standing there drooling. its good for solo.

Well exhaust damage up doesn't do anything if the weapon doesn't apply exhaust, which to my understanding is every weapon that doesn't have a blunt attack. If you do arc shots with Bow and it hits anywhere except the head you will indeed build up exhaust so stamina thief will work in that instance.
Even though some weapons cannot apply exhaust the monsters will exhaust themselves at some point, but that is tied to their stamina gauge and not to exhaust damage dealt (or not dealt).

lol I know. I feel great shame. I got a Safi HH build and woke'd so I will be getting back into the mix. Though I'm torn between choosing the healing attack melodies and the bone horn style melodies..
