Health Booster visual effect
Is there any way to tune down Health and Cleanser booster visual effects?
It can be really difficult to see through the fog at times and while I really like the extra healing, the loss of vision has made me faint more than few times. Is there a way to reduce the effect in options?

In the options? No.

There might be a mod for it, though. Check nexusmods.

I found no mod supporting it... am I the only one having this problem? It really seems difficult to see through health boosters... and it's odd nobody else seems to be bothered by it.

That's a shame.

Can't say as it's a problem I've run into as I never use the bloody things.

-health booster heal too slow to the point that AT can outdamage the healing
-it offers no deco slot
-health booster+ is just a bigger range, that all

I don't really play solo, and for group play it seemed like a good option. I really like it in fact... if it had not been for the huge wall of fog.

until some randoms drive the monsters away from it,then it became nothing but a floating green mist at the far corner of the screen

nice of you to support your teammates though

A gigantic AoE heal is bad when it can't outheal the damage of literally strongest monsters in the game. Ah yes.
Your perception of what's good or bad in the game is kinda fked.

Wrong. Plus version has a longer uptime aswell as a shorter cooldown.

@Kayneth,

i can hook you up with an effect removal that I use because I'm not a fan of eye cancer. However it removes the visual effect entirely, so it's probably not exactly what you are looking for.

I'd almost like to say you should just fool around with the graphic options. I'm definitely on the lower end and I've never had this problem, but I could see some lighting and volumetric fog or something possibly combining together to make the effect look pretty thick.
Sounds like something might be wrong with your graphics, when ever I plop one down it's a super light green mist that is easier to over look than it is to block vision.
I also wouldn't mind a mod to tone down the effects. I have memories of my friend using both the health booster+ and the cleanser booster+ at the same time when fighting raging brachy... It's helpful, but sometimes I like being able to see what's murdering me

Well, I tried tinkering with graphics - but nothing reduced the effects. It looks like this even on low settings (Clenser+ and Health+): https://i.imgur.com/nqajJ2D.jpg
I don't exactly want to turn it off altogether by a mod either - it's just puzzling to me that I haven't found anyone else complaining about the thick vision block online.

I use it all the time and find it super vision obscuring, so much so that you get pasted by a move you can't see coming from the other side of the fog, i have since learnt to place it near wall edges and not in the centre of an area.
I am also finding that as you get to tempered monsters it becomes almost useless compared to the amount of damage you take vs the time you can manage to spend within it's area. It retains its use against ruiner nerg and in the special arenas due to limited fighting space.

I personally like to bring cleansing booster in fights like viper tobi, gold rathian, and vaal randoms.
Health booster+ is obstructive, but it's amazing when you got a team that locks the monster down or fights it in a tight hallway where vision doesn't really matter.

Affinity booster+ I bring sometimes for monsters with poor hitzones, like Safi or Namielle, since it makes up for Weakness Exploit doing nothing on most peoples' builds.

And yea, I too find the cloud a bit thick.
Perhaps we can suggest Capcom to tone the fog down a notch? I know they want to differentiate it from the regular boosters, but this is a bad design choice.

PS: I like the idea of placing it near walls. That seems to be the way to go for now.
