The wrath of thunder descends (tempered zinogre) is the deco event. It guarantees 1-2 sealed feystones. In therory investigations can yield more but are not guaranteed.

If you're looking for base game decos there's Greatest Jagras (some call him Chungus, I call him Chadgras) and My Name Is Lavasioth. During season events like Full Bloom or Winter Star Fest (Summer event will come in a couple of months) there's always farming steamworks for melding tickets.

My Name is Lavasioth and Greatest Jagras for basics level 1 and level 2 decos.

Guiding lands ore farm + season events steamwork + melder: for better level 1, 2 and 3 decos (guard up, attack and ect), and average level 4 gems.

Wrath of Thunder Descends and MR investigations for average and low chance of good level 4 decorations.

Also, pray to RNGesus before revealing the decorations.

Reading the final part of the flavor text will usually say the extra reward, like more HR/MR points, Decos, Great Spirit Veing gems, etc.

I will use this :P. I need the pierce shot decoration, I have done a lot of lavasioths missions events, but no luck :( Help pls!

R10 decos: flora frostbite.
R11 decos: wrath of the thuder descends.
R12 decos: wrath of the thunder descends if you can kill or capture in less than 3 minutes, Tempered investigations most of the time with at least 4 or 5 rewards.

Therefore they should do deco events instead of tempered investigations, hence "in the absence of deco events."
