What the **** are Guild Cards?
I probably have dozens from other players, and I received them, but I don't understand their purpose.

Do I owe these players Birthday cards now or be expected to come to weddings?

It’s just a way for you to track progress of your “friends”. Some people accept random ones, I only take those of people I plan on playing with. Beyond that they don’t really matter

It lets you see and keep track of all the latest fashions. They're of the utmost importance!

If you use tailraider safari
The cats that u send out,are based on the cats from the Guild card that u received

Same goes for tailraider signal

So,if my cat named is "XYZ"
And i give u my guild card

You can send XYZ out for tailraider safari to collect items for you

If you use tailraider signal
There a chance for XYZ to appear

And if you collect 50 Guild cards
U get a medal for it

*Shrug*

Also buisness cards in japan are a big deal. They're seen as part of yourself and are to be treated with respect.

Business cards are like fax machines... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ antiquated.

When my vendors or contractors give me their cards I scan them on my phone and throw them away.

Different cultures, different ways. You'd never make it the Japanese business world with those practices.

That’s funny, I worked for a Japanese automotive supplier as an engineer and have been there several times.

Nice try tho.

In all honesty if you treated a business card like that in Japan, you were probably seen as the boorish American. It's a culture of subtleties. You probably didn't even notice the reaction something so simple as tucking away a business card without taking care of it would cause. No worries, few people would notice it unless fully inundated into the culture.

You also can ask for a guild card if you meet a high MR/HR player and think that he/she is suspicious to check his/her total hunts, captures/kills , weapon usages etc

Most people who modified their rank doesnt even try to hide it.

Guild cards arent totaly useless

I usually find that the people who do that tend to have a full armor set, with only vitality mantle, no charm and no decorations equipped. Seen a lot of people like that too. I was in one lobby where someone did one quest and came out with an orange name back in the base game, from white to orange. Seems legit lol
