Artian Layered Armor?
Is there a layered armor with the Artian armor set? This is easily the most badass looking armor I've seen yet in the game.

It requires AT Namielle Tickets.

This, it's basically the worst version to get. Artian is really cool looking, but unfortunately you can only colour the dark underlay part of the layered set, which makes it almost not worth using in my opinion.

The layered Guardian gear is more interesting, from Namielle stuff. It's very colourful and goes well with other armour pieces, although not if you don't like being butch and bulky, I guess.

I combo'd it with the Rathian helmet and chain arms / leggings for a while, seemed pretty good but the high collar bulky look was annoying after a while lol.

artian armor doesnt belong in this game, its aesthetically opposite to every other armor style in the game. no way could armor like that even be crafted in the monster hunter universe from a technoligcal or artisian standpoint

Lore wise, it's from the Ancient Civilization that dominated the Old World before being yeeted by Fatalis. In past games, there were matching weapons as well.

i really have high hopes with AT layer, but capcom too lazy to make new layer, so the put MR layer as reward for AT. well i guess i will stick with transmog, i guess capcom dont want to kill transmog yet.

all hail transmog, we can enjoy that thic.c kulve armor for female character since she release in MR.

(finally some decent argument from twiggy) read below

even if that were the case , theres no way that artian armor could be crafted since its far too advanced for current standards
it would be like humans in the dark ages finding schematics for a nuclear power plant, theyd have no way to ever build it

Tfw you don't understand that it's based on armor designs from the ancient civilization that was destroyed during the in universe Great Dragon War. Maybe go read up on the lore of the universe before making comments like this. Plus the armor has been featured in MH since MH3U so it's not like it's a new addition to the series.

i understand the lores explanation but it doesnt make logical sense that a primitive culture could craft something futuristic

Explain charge blades, switch axes, bow guns, and the dragonator then. They clearly still have the blueprints of some ancient tech and know how to recreate things based on that. I don't just get why you think that doesn't make sense.

if they could actually craft artian armor then they wouldnt bother using all the other armor or weapons that they do. its like yeah lets make this super furturistic armor but not incorporate that into mmaking matching weapons. there should be artian weapons if they can make the armor

The Ancients werent primitive. They were rather advanced, building towers and structures going miles into the air, and live in them. They were also able to build miles upon miles of bridges, and breathe underwater through special technology. They also were able to hunt species to extinction with ease.

the current hunters ARE primitive is what im trying to say. it doesnt make sense that the current hunters could replicate advanced tech from the lost civilization.
