Odogaron Layered Armor

hey, i really love the design of odogaron armor (i mean.. who doesn't) but how to unlock the layered armor? i can't find in the layered armor high rank section

yes, should i reach a certain level of the region?

It'll show up once you have at least one of the mats, so you'll just have to keep gathering and maybe poke Clifford a bit

I think you just need to get some odogaron material from the guiding lands, might need tempered but I doubt it

Tempered is not needed

you need fatal rendclws ( i think that's what they're called) ot tempered rendlaws, i don't remenber exactly.
you need rotten level 2 or coral level 3 to get the fatal rendclaw, and coral 6 or rotten 5 for the tempered rendclaw.

Tastes are subjective.

But to unlock it you need to have fought Odogaron before afaik? in the Guiding Lands. Capture or kill, it doesn't matter. It's gonna ask you for a few of his unique GL materials, slot in Geology 1 to get double loot drops, pick em up before they disappear. Go back to the smithy and you should be able to craft it. Worst comes to worst you'll have to kill/cap its tempered version.
