Safi Bow
Which one should I upgrade first, because I don't have a lot of dracolite. Thx for the help in advance everyone.

Shatterbow or water bow.

Everything else is outclassed by kjarr bows.

Shatterbow is a good all-rounder. The kjarr water bow just plain sucks, so safi is the better choice.

All of the elemental safi bows are good though, so if you were wanting to make a full safi loadout, I'd go
Ice > water > lightning > fire > dragon

I actually have 2 of each bow. One set has silverlos awakening, the other is awakened for deco3 and elemental dmg in every other slot. (Dont bother with silverlos awakening. It's not that good and will cost a fortune in mats)

I would go dragon, fire, water, ice, thunder. If you have any elemental kjarr bows besides water though, they are stronger and less grindy imo than safi bows since they have critical element built in and when combined with 5 piece safi set, have higher damage output.

Kjarr water bow doesn't have power coatings so it is worse than safi.

So I don't really know much about bows, but for Safi bows won't you need a silver rathalos set for critical element? Again, correct me if i'm wrong, but the kjarr bows come with critical element which would allow you to be a lot more flexible with armor choice. Is the kjarr water bow bad enough to really justify maintaining two completely different armor sets? Or is the silver rathalos set still worth using for kjarr bows?

Silverlos vs. Safi set (with non-kjarr bows) is a matter of preference. The dmg is very close, but safi set offers way more comfort. Silverlos set is trickier to build with, and silverlos awakening of safi bows helps a little. But you will spend a fortune on mats to roll it. And the gains from it are minuscule. We're talking a couple skill levels gained tops.

Again, all the above is speaking purely in terms of kjarr bows not being in the picture.

The kjarr bows plus safi set is the meta. The difference in damage output is not a little. Safi set + kjarr bows do like 20% more dmg than the safi bows with their respective best sets.

The kjarr water bow doesn't get power coating nor even a lvl 1 deco slot. It probably is still technically the best, but you'll be rocking close range coating exclusively which has its obviously drawbacks. So, it you can stay in a monster's face 100% of the time, then yeah, kjarr water bow is king. But since that isn't realistic, the safi bows ability to continuously pump out damage without having to waste opportunities to attack on dash-dancing to get closer nonstop, or having to play risky 100% of the time, its like.. how worth-it is all that for a small bump in damage?

Not having power coatings is a pretty significant drawback for the kjaar water bow, I'm not entirely sure what the logic behind that choice was. If you have access to true crit element the difference is pretty significant(for the water bow), but I personally don't use it because that armor gives you pretty ♥♥♥♥ build flexibility as it's bloated with trash skills.
