How to find Petricanth???

I have been over 50 times in the area 15 ponds in Rotten vale (50+ in MR 30+ in HR).
Also I've tried the area 8 pond over 50 times today in MR...
Where the ♥♥♥♥ is the Petricanth, I always don the stealth mantle and walk slowly to the pond as to not scare it.
Is it LR exclusive, because I'm starting to lose my mind. Please help!
EDIT: area 8 camp in the Elder's Recess

It appears in the pond where you get plunder blade (still RNG)
It can appear in any rank and you don't need anything aside button mashing skill, so strip those mantle and sprint your ass there every time

Also if you have iceborne, you should unlock Zoomaster food skill, which increasing the chance of rare endemic to appear..

EDIT: the fish didn't leave, so I caught it!!! It took me 3 days, but it's done!

And Wintermoon Nettle, that thing was the hardest for me to find among the rare endemic with achievement but thankfully i found one after many tries..

Yeah and there is also bug where if you look to the other way, he will magically disappear for sudden without a trace, not to mention it's already hard to make it appear in first place..

the shiny beetle thing? i caught it without knowing he was suposed to be rare. he spawn every sunrise and sunset at the exact same place and he dosen't run away even without ghilie mantle.

oh sorry, you talked about a bug so i misunderstood. yeah, still didn't get that one, but i didnt really try so it's pretty normal.
