Question about Tigrex Essence Skill

i’m a little confused, i have tigrex essence on my safi sns. does that mean i automatically get free meal level 3? when i add a satiated jewel it only appears as level 1. can someone clarify this please? thank you

Tigrex essence allows you to stack additional levels of free meal. It doesn't give you additional stacks of free meal automatically.

Essence works like you wear specific armor piece that is part of that set, you have to wear 1 less armor piece to activate bonus

so i’d only have to wear two tigrex pieces since my sns acts as the third set piece correct?

Can you see the 5/3 on the right side? It tells me that I currently have 5 armor pieces that contribute towards Tigrex essence and only need 3 for it to be active. It highlights all the armor pieces with yellow color. If I had some armor piece on me that's not Tigrex the icon would be grayed out. As you can see there is no weapon icon with all the yellow armor icons therefor the weapon doesn't contribute towards activating Tigrex essence.

If you have 3 Tigrex armor pieces on you and 3 free meal skill points from any armor piece, decoration or any other source then you get free meal lv3. If you're only using 2 Tigrex armor pieces then no matter how many skill points you put in free meal it will never go above lv1.

Above you can see me using 5 Tigrex armor pieces of which only 1 has free meal so I only have free meal Lv1.

Here's me wearing only 3 Tigrex armor pieces but each of them has a skill point in free meal.
