Zinogre deco farm

Is it possible to get Shield decos from this fella?
I've only gotten lvl 4 decos so far and i'm more than done with Lavanerd at this point

Did anybody come across a bug that wouldn't let you shoot with GL anymore? Despite having full magazine and wyvernfire ready to go i only got the animation for not having any ammo?

I got an Attack Jewel from farming Zinogre so I assume you can get a Shield Jewel, yeah. I don't know the list, but you most get Sealed and Carved feystones from it - if the Shield Jewel is part of their drop tables then yeah you can definitely get one.

Kiranico has no data on it though, don't know if that bodes well for it or what.

No, shield jewel only drops from glowing, worn and warped feystones.

For shield its better to farm Lavasioth event in HR, with IB gear you'll melt it really fast.

I did check, but there was nothing listed under Sealed and Carved feystones. I figured that meant no data...wouldn't they just put 00.00% otherwise?

i wonder who the moron dev was who tought MR carved and sealed feystones should be able to drop BASEGAME decos that people had for YEARS already. its really disgusting way of thinking. hope this guy is fired from the team for future entrys. same for the one who designed certain hitboxes.

Haha... Been spamming for 2 days. Till now only got a Expert Jewel 4. Trying to farm 3 Tenderizer/Vitality or Critical/Vitality and 3 Release/Vitality with no luck currently. Plus when sealed feystone is appraised for some reason is full of base game decos which is totally a let off.

be glad you got that expert jewel 4 dude. its way more rare than the other 3. meanwhile all i got to show for my 30 quests is 1 crit/vitality. thats it. i know why i didnt bother with this crap on console version... sigh.

when your new meta build uses 2 attack+ or 2 expert+ youre kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

meanwhile the sealed keeps spitting out magazine decos and attack 1 from basegame -.-

Expert+4 Jewels are decent, then? I figured it was a worthless rare decoration because you get one for free in the story anyway and Critical Eye is found as so many secondary effects on the 4 jewels plus it's on a lot of decent armour pieces too. I found an extra one from Tempered Elder Dragons really early into Iceborne but I've never had a need to use more than one on any set I've made, although I don't chase the meta much I guess.

At the moment I'm looking for Challenger+4, Furor+4 and Release/Vitality Jewels though, those things are all Rarity 11 I think but they're playing very hard to get. I guess two Attack Jewel+4's would be good for stacking into a Glider Mantle too, but I'm not holding out any hope of ever seeing those, lol.

I'd really like Capcom to add some Pierce/Whatever and Spread/Whatever Jewels to the game though...it feels disgusting and wasteful slotting in a Size 3 basic Pierce / Spread Jewel into a Size 4 slot and stuff. Even if they only came bundled with basic stuff like Maintenance, Gobbler or Satiated rather than good stuff like Expert, Attack and Vitality.

Maybe towards the end of Icebornes cycle they will?

How it is even possible to play through the game and miss getting a guard up deco? They're not really that rare, just doing enough hunts in HR, and you'll find a bunch of them. You have to be really unlucky to have not gotten one. I had over 40 of them, and like other piles of decos I didn't need more than one of, I slammed them in the melder to roll level 4s.

they never added new decos later so far. would be fully new for them to do.

yes expert+ is as rare as attack+ is. if the story woudnt grant one for free ALOT of builds would be crazy hard to pull off. its a r12 deco and only 18 of these exist to begin with.

expert and attack combos are common but thier combos nearly all suck and are wasteful on lvl 4 slots therefore.

dont bother with challenger+ tough. new update will add challenger charm FIVE which maxes the entire skill out in itself. and if useing agi secret from new raging set youll get the extra 2 levels from the chest anyway.
