There're replacements. Mightning+ then Loyal Thunder, then Safi Burstcannon. In order of power and obtainability.

oooooh ok . than until then glutton is still best choice or is there another hbg ?

Glutton is not a long-term MR weapon, but you could probably use it for the first few hunts. Late-game there are much better spread HBGs. Keep it, though, MR Kulve is confirmed.

i palyed the magda gemitus II till MR 50 so should be no problem at all.

Their is gluttony, gluttony 2.0 Zinogre, gluttony 3.0 Safi and Gluttony 4.0(fingers cross) MR Kulve

Well, until MR kulve released then. But given the tradition of Kulve using drop system just like Safi, that means your HR glutton can not be upgraded to MR glutton (if available).

I also missed my KT Support HBG tho.

It's DPS checks out until you meet things like Tigrex and Glavenus, especially with Tenderised stuff, BUT you're going to lack the armour if you upgrade to Master Rank to really pull it off, so it's less useful, and it suffers with its limited mod slots.

You're better off putting it away until you get your hands on something like the Nargacuga weapons, since Pierce is actually pretty good in Iceborne with the Power Barrel, along with Sticky too.

Spread 3 goes away for a while but comes back after the story in a huge way, with the Zinogre, Stygian Zinogre and Safi'Jiiva HBGs being brought to bear.

Don't sell it, they're planning on releasing a MR version of Kulve Taroth that you can hunt to upgrade your old Taroth / Kjarr equipment. I have a feeling the Glutton is going to make a serious comeback, especially if its as powerful as a R12 Spread 3 HBG but is only like R10 or R11 for augmentation purposes.

yes for lower mr mission till you can replace it through flammenkanone and its upgrade into donnerkanone, which has acces to sticky ammo and spread3

ko dmg of spread ammo was nerfed hard in iceborne so it is nearly impossible to get any ko without impact mantle and nonelemental boost was also nerfed so double nerf for this specific gun

sticky is the new ko king

lets see if it can reclaim its thrones with the arrival of mr kulve
so keep the kulve weapons stored till the quest drops

other interesting guns are from viper tobi, nargacuga works with non elemetal

By what they said in the video about MR Kulve, the way it works is like this:

1. Do HR Kulve, obtain the HR weapons.
2. Do MR Kulve, obtain materials.
3. Use materials from MR Kulve to upgrade the HR weapon to MR.

From how they described it, MR kulve doesn't drop weapons at all.

it is also only a normal 4player event quest instead of siege

Zinogre hbg is glutton 2.0 essentially. And once you farm up safi you can get the safi burst cannon which is glutton 3.0. However DON’T sell the glutton. It might end up being better once kulve rolls around in master rank.
SadZinny Mar 27, 2020 @ 2:20am
Glutton still good but for early MR quests

however DO NOT SELL IT since MR kulve is confirmed and you cant get it from MR kulve

is it possible the Glutton will be the best spread once MR kulve upgrade comes on PC.
