Crazy Graphics Glitches After Latest Nvidia Drivers
Had to roll back to previous version!

445.75 has major glitches for me, crazy triangles everywhere, huge particles...

442.74 is working just great!

What GPU do you have?

Wow, I'm lucky to find this topic. I thought I was the only one experiencing this.

Installed 445.75 for Half Life: Alyx, and started to see said artifacts in MHW. At first I thought it was my GPU overclock (2080 TI), but I've tested it thoroughly previously in stress tests and MHW without artifacts and the GPU is running a cool 50c in MHW. I restarted my PC, disabled overclocking, and still had artifacts in MHW.

I then disabled mods (wasn't running any but HelloWorld bars), still got artifacts. Completely removed Nvidia drivers (using Display Driver Uninstaller) in Safe Mode, reinstalled 445.75, and still got artifacts in MHW. Verified integrity of game files - still artifacts.

I only get artifacts after about 10 minutes during a hunt, but then they persist everywhere, even on the main title screen.

I suspected it was the driver version, and I guess OP confirms it. I will go back to 442.74 for now.

I actually installed my update after I finished playing for the night. I have a 2080 Super, I guess I'll see when I fire it up tonight.

Yep, my cases haven't been as bad in that video, but still. It made fighting Safi like I was at an EDM show.

LOL I bet. That's all I've been doing, Safi. I get about 3 hours a night to play after my kids go to bed. Nothing but Safi, trying to get all my weapons fully awakened/upgraded/augmented. Haven't touched any other quest since it dropped.

I was getting huge performance drops in guiding lands even before the drivers. Remember how the rotten vale used to be?

I think it's the case for most of the common Nvidia GPU's. The ones I know that have the issue:

RTX 2080 Ti
RTX 2080
RTX 2070 Super
GTX 1080 Ti
GTX 1070 Ti

And I suppose the ones I didn't mention that people here mentioned.

(Using MHW in HDR w/DX12)
I used Display Driver Uninstaller, and got back to 442.74, and is fine now thanks.

Someone on Reddit said disabling DX12 fixed it for him. You may try it before rolling back. I can't test it as I haven't updated the driver yet.

You can just download the previous driver from Nvidia's website and install it. It'll automatically uninstall the most recent driver.

I can confirm I have the same issue here. I thought my GPU was dying after 13 months of use (bought it in feb last year) but turns out it seems like its a well known issue only on mhw. I have a Zotac RTX2080.

I can confirm that turning off DX12 stopped those graphical glitches for me. I did not have to rollback my driver.
