Some of us liked swimming. :(
I'm new to the monster hunter world-in the general license I mean. To be honest, I really enjoy it.
I really have a trouble with a fish having legs like the Jyora. And I would have like to see real aqua monsters. But hey... what can do a man into water with a 1 ton hammer ?
Be happy that flying monsters dare to fight on the floor with us !
So basically there are no downgrades, just things some people like and some don't whereas older games had things some people liked and some people didn't.
1. Monster never touch you before you touched them. Look at Kushala - for this dragon you just a little fly that don't deserve any attention :'D
2. Monster warns you by roar and if you not leave - initiates a battle. Teostra not so bad guy to kill every little one around. He is Ruler of the Flame, not a mindless murderer.
3. Monster initiate battle imidiatly then you on the line of sight. Lunastra is very agressive, for example.
So that is bad? I don't think so.
Also in Iceborne monsters was become more aggressive in compare to base World.
The older ones are better, i gotta get them,ASAP!!!
MHW is most definitely an upgrade.
I like the new weapon skills.
I like how everything is marginally more organized for the menus.
I like the clutch claw when playing SnS and HH, but ignore it for most other weapons.
The multiplayer thing for "Assigned" story missions is odd, but that is only for assigned missions.
And, it makes sense.
It's the story focusing on your exploits as a hunter; not Tim, Bob or Joe plus you.
End game? Not a problem. You preform groups for everything else anyways.
Who the heck would want slimy weapons anyways?
It even says in the lore it causes explosions - blast!
Go play Aion if you want 3D fighting.
