Go to town on any sufficiently tough monster.

Have your Palico equipped with the Plunder Blade. Pick up the trade-in items like the scales. Sell them for profit.

Do a quest like "Colorful Carnival", its an easy and fast quest. You kill a Kulu-Ya-Ku, Pukei-Pukei, Tzitzi-Ya-Ku and Coral Pukei-Pukei. Farm the quest and sell everything everytime.

simply mr investigations, temp monsters give highest rewards up to 90k for a single monster mission
foodbuff felyne fat cat 4X golden fortune beer with voucher

use the farm for godbugs and sell them
simply sell common monster parts like scales

dualblades work great with banditmantle against less agressive stuff with good hitboxes like many t1 monsters (great jagras pukei pukei etc), guns work too but costs ammo, bow is another option literally every fast hitting weapon.

whenever i fight a monster i don't need parts from, i sell all when i complete a hunt. i had 9 mil zenny going into icebourne after doing that a while

I saw some tempered MR investigations with rewards in the 120k range, too.

Do investigation with double or triple monsters, it usually gives you higher money than normal and since their health also not as full as normal hunt, they are pratically not hard to deal..

I used to plant and farm power/armor seed in MHFU. Still doing so in MHW. So far so good.

Grab your bandit mantle and beat up some HR elder dragons. The drops are based upon your DPS, not hit count. I usually finish Nergi or Kirin in under 2 mins and end up with 15 lustrous scales and 5 glimmering scales.

Lustrous sell for 3k each, and glimmering for 5k. That's 70000 zenny without counting the quest reward of 21600 for tempered Kirin. Total of 91600 zenny in under 2 mins without faints, which is easy with MR gear.
