Do you have to farm Stygian Zinogre in Guiding Lands or can I just break it's back in the event? I need my hunting horn.

You need to break Stygian's back in order to obtain it.

Darn. That's gonna make upgrading this horn a lot harder but thank you for the advice now I can stop farming the event.

You can break anything, as any breaks will cause shinies to fall. Same goes to wallbangs and claggers.
