How do I unlock Showdown: the Muck and the Maul

I think I might just be being a moron, but I am trying to unlock Showdown: the Muck and the Maul. I feel the wording on the wiki is either unclear or I'm missing something here.

It specifies you have to hunt 5 different threat level one tempered monsters. I'm not sure if this means you can farm the same type of monster more than once (ie kill rathian 5 times) or they all have to be different species (kill 1 pukei-pukei, 1 barroth, 1 anjanath etc etc...)

I had one threat level 1 rathian investigation which I farmed 3 times. I then did a double investigation with a threat level 1 anjanath and a rathalos..

Despite this, it has still not unlocked.

I'm just scratching my head as to why it's not unlocking and no one else seems to be having this issue (which is why I'm wondering if it's just me being a dumbass)

Just so you know I am hunter rank 65 and have done pretty much everything in the base game.

If you already hunt all different 5 tempered threat 1 monsters, normally the quest would be automatically unlocked by talking to armory, also pink rathian in HR is considered as T2 not T1, either you haven't reached the condition or it's a weird bug..
There is also a possible way by hunting tempered barroth and tempered radobaan before so the quest will pop up, though it's not really proven.

I got the quest. I'll explain what I learned in case someone else who finds this topic is confused like I was.

They have to be 5 different types of monster. It's not enough to just kill a raithian 5 times like I did, they have to be unique creatures. This means one raithian, one barroth etc etc...

Even if you kill something considered Threat level 1 (ie, the two threat level 1 bazelguese you fight after beating xeno'jiiva) unless they are present on the list below they will not count towards the quest. Only these tempered creatures do:

-Pukei Pukei
-Tobi Kadachi
-Anjanath
-Barroth
-Jyuratdodus
-Rathian
-Paolumu
-Radobaan

I creatures I killed specifically were the Tobi, Anjanath, Rathian, Barroth and Radobaan. I'd say you're probably right about the Radobaan and Barroth. If someone else is looking to do the quest I'd make sure you hunt them just to be sure.

All you really need is one investigation, and you can unlock all the others from picking up tracks from said creature. I ended up with over 20 unique tempered investigations for pretty much every monster I needed by just following a rathian around for a bit. It's much faster than going and wandering around in an exhibition looking for the odd track which doesn't even give anything.
