what are your favorite Iceborne monsters?

my personal favorites are garuga, glavenus, velk, nami and ruinerg. tigrex is also really good but that horrible tail spin hitbox is a problem.

Probably Namielle for me because of the cool design, unique attacks, and honestly she's pretty easy (read: not frustrating).

Namielle and yian garuga. Ones a really well done new monster, the other is a really well done remake. Tigrex WOULD be up there if not for some especially busted hitboxes and terrible gear.

I think the issue is that Barioth is way harder and shows up just before Narga in the story.
It's just weird, Barioth gets no fanfare, no cutscenes, no nothing, then Narga is treated like a way bigger deal, but is just way easier to deal with and a very similar fight.

Personally, I love Zino. Yian and Vaal can take a shared 2nd place.

I gotta say for my favorite IB fight it has to be Fulgur Anja. Easily the best done monster in the entire game, he is a variant that is actually different from the base with really cool and unique mechanics and moves. Namielle and Velkhana are also really great elders, even if they're on the easier side. Cool looks, neat mechanics, fun fights that feel great to master. And great themes.
Scarred Garuga is yet another great fight, the base one always felt a little too easy for me and i creamed him my first encounter. Scarred switches things up in a real nasty way and I love it.

For some monsters I like that became disappointing, Vaal Hazak. I was hoping he would get an aggressive variant but they just doubled down on the only thing hard about the fight: unavoidable DoT. I get he's an already dead kinda thing but I dunno, make him more about sucking up and getting stronger from effluvia instead of just spamming it everywhere to be defeated by like 3 or 2 decoration slots? having him suck up more energy and then powering him up(like fulgur anja/zin get stronger when they charge up)with more vicious and aggressive, and LIVELY attacks would be really cool to see and make for a good variant.

Favourite fight: Yian Garuga
Favourite 'feeling': Deviljho and Tigrex
Favourite music: Bazelguese

By 'feeling' I mean that those two monsters genuinely feel like predators that are relentlessly hunting you. Rajang almost captures that feeling but it's not quite the same, probably because it doesn't feel like he wants to eat you, he just wants to beat you down.

seething bazel is my favourite new monster its just a shame hes not an invader anymore half our invaders in iceborne are so dull i forget they are invaders favourite returning monster zinogre but hes the best outright so its not really fair
