For gunner, each monster is easy on specific ammo.
versus Safi is elemental ammo but elemental on heavy gun is useless compare its younger brother the light one.
versus Namielle is pierce ammo if you can tender the wings.
but do remember specific monster can punish gunner user like Tigrex and nargacuga being fast and hit hard.
using safi armor set i can assume he/she is using resentment build + agitator if possible and have full augmented and awaken weapon on attack but remember being HBG main is not just point and shoot, you have to know the amount of status ammo required to put monster sleep/ paralysis, amount of ammo crafted in midfight since some ammo can craft 5 with just 1 material, cluster bomb placement, and sticky shot to get that KO effect.
And something like sticky builds for LBG too... they don't have insane damage per shot... but they do make it easy to break hard to reach parts and get KO's. Even with a half-assed sticky set and my brother just using a half-assed bow build with an impact mantle, we did Kushala on Master Rank yesterday and he spent more time laying on the ground than actually doing other others things. But it's pretty silly, since Kushala is an absolute nightmare to fight with most melee weapons. I wish they actually bothered to make it a fun fight for melee weapons.
