This has to be the worst achievement ever :c
I'm still searching for treasures all over the world.
And the worst part is that it seems to be some kind of RNG involved to get the treasure tips, so here I am, wasting 200 max potions and traps on gajalakas for 1 tip.

Not really, you can join a Discord server and post the monster you need, if someone joins a hunt with an small crown, it will call others to join.
It's one of the easiest in fact.

How would you even know you have a small crown?

They don't give any tips if you have already have one. And it doesn't take much to get it, just hand your item to the felyne that's begging for it. Oh and if you didn't know you can click the paw swap icon on the map to fast travel to the location.

Honestly the treasure tips are there to test your knowledge of the area more than anything else. If you know the area then you're going to have a fun time (like I did).

Besides Pawswap, you can also consider quicksort and mergesort, which runs in O(n lg n) time.

It is not RNG because I’ve found all of them which spawn at the exactly same location as the guide I found.

I know, which seems to be RNG, is the amount of gifts you have to give to get a tip.

I just looked up the guide online, took me about 2 days with 3-4ish hrs of game time to completely finish all the treasure. Trick is to give them an item they really want, indicated by the excitment animation. It gives a better chance for the treasure tip.

You don't just give the gift to any of the Lynians who are hopping. I have found that if you make sure to give at least one gift to each Lynian (one to number 1, 2, and then 3. Also make sure they are ecstatic to get your gift.) you usually get your clue right away. The later it gets in the trades sometimes it will take two or three trades like this, but it never took me more than 3. The crowns are THE WORST part because it is very easy to misjudge the size of a monster when you're near the crown sizes.

I may have low hours on PC but I've got almost 2,000 on PS4 and the crowns are literally the last thing I need to collect after completing everything else.

True. The one that tripped me up was the one in the wildspire waste that said something like "I buried the unneeded materials in front of a cave west of the sandy planes.", because I didn't pay agtention to the cave that you can't interact with, so didn't know what was meant.

the worst achievment isnt this one. its clearly the crowns no contest. thier rng is far far worse.

The moment I did the post, crowns were "easy" because there wasn't too many monster at that time, in fact, I was almost done with crowns at the time of the post.
Now with all the new monsters I agree that the worst would be crowns achievement.
I'm still lacking A LOT of crowns from new additions, and I'm grateful I picked up the achievement before patches lol

I have a tip for 1 treasure, but I have collected it. No new tips yet after 30min if trading. I guess I'm just unlucky or it's bugged?
