Is kicking a thing now?

Just did a Safi run. Got the kill. Next run on the first go about halfway through a friend and a random from our group got kicked (not DC'd, actually kicked by the host), followed by a few more people. Screwed our run up and I just afk'd in the gathering hub until someone got a kill.

This is not the first time this happened, 2 days ago both my friend and I got kicked in the middle of the fight.
They really need to fix this crap.

Do u know for a fact it was a kick? It doesn't make any logical sense to kick in the middle of a hunt unless they are messing up that bad. It could be server issue, I been kick offline multiple times during my safi run

When you get kicked you get a different message from when you get disconnected. My friend definitely got kicked and the timing for the others is quite odd for them not to be kicked. The GS guy from our group that 'left' was in the middle of a charged combo.

There are always new forms developed to troll other players
it is one of the cons while playing with randos simply avoid the host in the future.

When you get kicked you don't get an error code like when you disconnect, you are actually told that you were booted from the server.

He can make a new session for him and his friends.

Imagine not being able to think of how simple the answer is, cause maybe someone has 2 friends and need another random? Maybe he started the session public and then friends come to play aswell and needed a spot? Why not make the session public to help other find one aswell for extra rewards form other groups breaking stuff?

He can make a new session, make it public AND have his friends join it, then. Not that hard.

I'm not saying it was the right move, I'm offering a possible explanation. Making a new session would have been more fair to you but harder to fill up for a faster siege. I mean, the game revolves around you as much as it does around him, in the conflict of pricks why should he accomodate for you and not the other way around?

What if that's exactly what he did, and then the session filled up and then two more friends wanted to join?
Yeah he could have opened ANOTHER session and blah blah... I somehow doubt you'd have done it yourself.

I've kicked people from Safi lobbies for going afk. They're just wasting space and making harder some teams than can't get a full party.
