So tired of trying to farm Black Veil, so I shoot a SOS flare to make the process quicker.
Well F me, because apparently no one knows how to heal or manage their health.
4 TIMES I have had quest fail because of losers fainting.
I'm hunting solo, and I think I will continue because the competency of this community is 20% competent, 80% memelords who rather make haha funny instead of learning how to play.

I know your pain though. Love posting tempered investigations for one person to suck real bad and fail the quest for everyone... then try to join when I post another one...

I try my best not to think its intentional... but man.
Granted I usually know why people in GL die... they forgot to slot in geology, so they bring some garbo armor piece that has it but they get floored by the monster lol.

10 times I've hunted Black Veil, 4 times solo, 6 times SOS and every SOS hunt has ended in failure because of OTHERS fainting.

A majority of random players joining blackveil don’t have effluvia 3 even if effluvia 3 isn’t mandatory as long as you play safe and eat nullberries. Blackveil Vaal hazak looks easy to hit, but risky to approach because the gas he releases deals so much damages and are underestimated by most of players there.

I have had the same experience trying to share 5 reward tempered investigation.
I expressed my frustrations on the forums and everyone one started projecting and told me I only SOS because I can't handle it solo... Ever since then I have just been doing them solo, F everyone else. 75% of the players are bad and 95% of the people on the forums are IMHO.

You will learn this from the replies you are about to receive.

It doesn't take a 200+ IQ player to realize that stinky dragon farts=bad.
Majority of the time its people being carted by his SUPER LONG CHARGE UP BREATH, or being twin blade or long sword, doing DPS with a youtube meta, and dying because they're not paying attention to their health.

I won't lie, black veil has caught me a few times online. Randomly getting gassed from the bubble, running over gas on the floor I can't see... yikes.

But I never really use my vouchers unless its behemoth or I'm going for endemic life. So the only thing I lose is time.

Exactly, right.
I SOS on investigations and others so others can profit. But then they reward me by being absolute trash.

My biggest issue is room temp IQ, who don't play the game by learning but look up reddit and youtube builds that are glass cannons.
PROTIP: Doesn't matter how much damage you do if you cart 3 times.

I have a level 4 defense charm, because I don't want to be the ass who faints while trying to help someone.

with vaal specifically, when you fire the SoS flare, find a spot to sit safe and when people join the missions, inspect their gear. If you dont see effluvial resistance, kick them ASAP before they enter the mission and take 1 party spot away

That's what I'm going to do, I had no idea you can inspect their gear

personally when im doing the harder stuff, ill kick anyone under a certain level. Like with behemoth / leshen. If i see their MR is 0 or hell, even under 50, ill kick them. I find most people with low MR die very quickly after having many wipes on those and people at MR100+ will usually have much better gear/sets and in general just do more damage so the run is faster.
To check them just go to player list then you can select the person and inspect equipment. Sometimes its a lifesaver.

if you fire sos, you have to assume they are not player, they are palico, (get hit a lot, deal very little dmg)
you have to bring a lot of dust of life, or using wider range to prevent them from committing sudoku

Really sick of all these posts on this forum declaring how so many players are bad. Stop being so damned toxic. Maybe they're just learning, so perhaps help them?? After all it takes hundreds of hours to get to a point where you're skilled, we all know this. You sucked at some point as well which makes your post incredibly hypocritical.

Don't just sit their typing smack at them like you're the god gamer of monster hunter. Help them out or pick your balls up and go again.

To be fair, 80% of players who uses THIS FORM are fairly competent.
So if you post your session ID, I'm pretty sure the failure rate will be less than 25%.

If you rely on SOS then that's a completely different story.
Its like 90% of players don't even come here.

Furthermore, I think solo or just 2 people is far easier than a 4 men's hunt.
