TO ALL THE SAFI FARMER OUT THERE
PLZ CONSIDER WATCHING THIS VIDEO. (Much thanks to TheGameconomist)

https://youtu.be/2GUPje3i8Co

WE FARM BY BREAKING PART ON TOP OF SLAYING IT. SO DEALING TOTAL HP DAMAGE IS NOT IMPORTANT AT ALL. WHAT WE WANT IS TO DEAL PART DAMAGE!! YOU KILL SAFI IN ONE GO WITHOUT BREAKING MUCH PARTS IS NOT EFFICIENT AT ALL.

Ugh! Shilling your own Guide? Yuck! You're a rogue with no shame!

Also to make the most when you're killing Safi'Jiiva I recommend ensuring your Canteen is operating at its maximum efficiency. This guide can help:

I'd still like to finish it in one go. The video maximises Part break and not actual rewards. If you can Slay Safi in one run reliable, you are also probably breaking parts. The only time slaying Safi is not worth it is the absolute nightmare scenario, where noone in the session breaks anything off of it and you still kill it, which is extremely hard to do.
In a scenario where you have a decent team who let's say breaks the head once a leg or two and a wing maybe, then you do two kills in a single attempts you already have way more potential rewards, then breaking everything once in 2 attempts. More kills => more Gems => more weapons. More kills => higher reward numbers overall.
Even with maxed rewards, Rigid Dracolite is not guaranteed. The main goal should always be to kill Safi in as few attempts as possible AND break parts if you can. And NOT break parts at the cost of letting it go.

well i would prefer getting more rigid or large dracolite as much as possible. And what you said is also not wrong, but keep in mind that you need a good team. Because for most of the time, you are playing with random players and not all of them are BG players. So you often see some player go for legs straight away or hitting everywhere which really bother me.

I'm not 100 percent agree with what he said but it's good advice overall I suppose. I'm just here to issue the problem about not breaking the part.

Generally it's better to finish in single run with as many parts broken as possible and that needs high DPS such as the safi water lbg.
Stickies are typically weaker but might be faster for wing breaks if aim is bad cause you need to shoot a specific spot of wings for most damage.
It shouldn't be too hard to break everything except maybe 1 or 2 legs with a competent team or everything except tailcut if you don't have a melee user.

ive had safi fights where we run out of time and fail the mission lmao. i think thats what happens when people try to focus on breaking parts instead of killing it? or they just suck im not sure

You just had bad teammates.

Generally speaking, I rarely look at other's gear and amour skill. But if things doesn't seem right, I will take a look, and usually find some interesting stuffs:

No health boost - therefore their health rise and drops very quickly due to a small health pool. Often time, that person is the first one to cart.

No Part Breaker

Very minimal amount of Offensive skills.

For teams like these, I'll switch over to LongSword with Elder Seal just hope to finish the mission quickly and move to another session.

is elder seal really that strong against safi? i might try a longsword build for safi i ever get a really slow team again

i remember gameeconomist doing a similar tip video on safi and saying weakness exploit is not useable on safi ....

i will pass mate ( just use a sticky 3 build with part breaker and focus on back, wings and head for easy points

^This lol.

TLDR just make sure to bring partbreaker.

Do not mount until area 3, and mount/get the knockdown during super-critical state for the most downtime damage.

1st run, 1st area, blunt/impact on the back legs, gunners on the wings/back. 2nd area, if none of those are still broken, break them, then focus on the head. 3rd area, finish breaking the head, cutters on the tail, everyone else on the chest, impact mantle/stickies on the head for KO. If he goes down during a mount then everyone on the chest. Ignore the forelegs completely since they take forever and give very little points.

In the 2nd run just break anything that was missed in the first run, cut the tail again, and poison his a-ss. Done.

TLDR: just break all parts in one run ez :3
Netsa Mar 22, 2020 @ 6:13am
Too long, didn't watch. Even if you don't break a bunch of parts, aren't the rewards still comparable if you're able to kill Safi in one run instead of two?
