1) Bring Horn Maestro 2 so you're not reapplying all of the buff songs all of the time.
2) Queue up 3 Impact (or Dragon) waves in a row.
3) Smacka-da training pole and play all 3 songs.
4) Encore for massive damage.
You're welcome.
*Side Notes:*
It is not affected by affinity or sharpness at all, only PURE RAW UNADULTERATED POWER, so Peak Performance, Agitator and Attack Boost are your friends.
It also counts as impact damage, so it KO's like a mofo.
Now HH can hit a wake-up call like a GS can.
*Edit Notes:*
They buffed HH's waddle, so you can rotate faster when playing tunes. The impact damage from the "wave" songs hit at the drum/bell/bagpipe/horn location at the end of the doot stick.
"Dragon" actually does dragon damage, so it might be affected by dragon gems? Iunno, I haven't tested it yet. Don't know if it has elder seal either.
Was tempted to do the snarky google that for you thing but didn't feel like being a butt.
This is up to date BEFORE Iceborne's release though I don't think IB changed any values for HH songs anyway, the only things it's lacking would be the echo note songs which from what I remember Impact wave does BIG KO (Not sure on actual value) and some damage, Echo wave Dragon does a big chunk of dragon damage and is worth going for, the echo healing puddle gives a slight heal and increased natural regen, stamina puddle increases max stamina by 50 and it stacks with food (your DBs will love you), and finally the movement speed puddle gives anyone who walks in it basically a level in evasion and gives ONLY YOU movement speed with your weapon unsheathed.
Also while typing this I noticed the page I linked doesn't give the %s you asked for but off memory the (L) buffs are all 20%.
Yeah, I was still unsure about WHAT the effects do, so at this point in time, I have almost all horns so I have a vast selection.
Also, I aoe heal all recently. Hardly do much damage because I lack the good jewels, but I keep my people alive and land the good hits now and then.
Is there a list of all these effects though? I thought this stuff would be written down on a wiki, but they still lack what some of these effects actually do. Thanks to anyone who comes up with a link and a full list of wtf I'm dooting.
Either way, thanks for the tips!
Someone claims to have tested the buffs and found % values which line up with past games.
Also the encore for self improvement evidently has a 15% raw damage buff to the horn based on some tests done by a redditor: https://www.reddit.com/r/MonsterHunterWorld/comments/869h9r/hunting_horn_20_selfimprovement_buff_damage/
A decent chunk of the buffs are fairly self explanatory
Element Res songs will boost your resistance by a value (You can look at your status screen before and after playing to see how much exactly)
Divine Protection works similarly to the armor skill: having a chance to reduce the damage taken from attacks
Stamina use reduction works like dash juice and slows stamina drain
Tool use drain makes mantles/hunting tools last longer
Wind pressure negate and earplugs only negate the lower tier of their effects, for all roars/windpres you need All Wind Pressure Negate/The Earplug counterpart.
Knockback negation gives the party flinch free
Those are most of the semi-ambiguous ones I see other than scoutfly power which to be honest I have no idea.
Example from your list shows impact echo wave as 0 (0) what does that mean when it actually does damage?
Looking below, there's the echo wave attacks listed as projectiles. I'm going on a little guess here to assume that the echo wave listed with 90 stunning power is very likely to be the impact echo wave.
I can't really tell what those numbers on the chart mean, due to a lack of labels. Maybe duration and encore duration, with the numbers in the brackets the duration with level 2 Horn Maestro?
From what I've read online, and from personal experience, Attack and Defense Up S/M/L gives a 10%/15%/20% boost respectively. Health Boost L temporarily raises your max health by 50; this comes from the same pool as meal boosts and max potions, so they won't stack. I think the large resistance boosts give an extra 10 (maybe 15) points of resistance to their respective elements, not sure about the small boosts.
If anyone else knows the other effects, feel free to add.
Also, here's a good resource I've found. Should shed a bit more light into what you're looking for:

EDIT: Actually, the fantastic chart the guys in the video put up should answer most (if not all) of your questions:

Thanks for the info.
