Anyone playing Lance with mouse & keyboard?

I found the following instructions for sidestep:
Press Aim Slinger + Guard + A or D + Evade

This works but I'm wondering if there is a way to do it that doesn't require holding down four keys at once.

Unfortunately that's it. If you have mouse 4 and 5, I recommend binding the Aim Slinger to either. It's a lot less keyboard gymnastics

Honestly, if your mouse doesn't have atleast two extra buttons, what are you doing. I have a 26$ redragon m715 dagger and its amazing, and not expensive. I also had a coolermaster storm devastator that cost like 10$, both mice had two extra buttons, and the redragon has macro support, 16.8 million RGB colors and whatnot.

I have a gaming mouse with side buttons. I'll rephrase my original request. I was hoping there was a way to sidestep that only requires three 'inputs' like on a controller.

Guard on mouse
Slinger on mouse (you can use the on / off mode instead of the keep pressing)

While guarding, slinger mode put you on strafe mode, left and right (not specific to lance)
If you evade in strafe mode, you sidestep


Assuming you are in slinger on / off mode, you only have to press guard (on mouse, isnt hard) and A / D + space to sidestep


Heck, with enough buttons, you could make a 1 press macro eventually

It works for me anyway


An easier way eventually is to just do a simple poke while guarding, then sidestep with A/D + space

Slinger aim is meant for when you are sheathed. Even if I bind it to rmb, won't I get a High Thrust on rmb when unsheathed?

I only get the zoom effect with slinger (hold). Slinger press once doesn't do anything.
