Lunastra Gamma Armor
In my opinion it seems mostly trash and its defense is below all the other arch tempered armors for what it's worth. What say you guys?

I like the coil. For like half the weapons, it could be useful, esp if you slot 1 flinchfree for multi.

That set is for defensive and support purpose , the helm have wide range lv 5 and you also can get earplug lv 5 too . Resistant to fire is darn good since many monsters deal fire damage .

i like the waist.
health boost +2
Earplugs + 2

and if u like Monster Hunter Fashion World
then it's a must forge.

naw it's not plugs, it's evade window. Window 2 is pretty good for extending i frames on your dodge.
The only useful piece imo is the waist for the health boost. But i'd keep the tickets to forge them on the side just incase something comes down the line that needs it.

I agree, this set is pretty bad. The helm is the best option for Wide Range builds though, but I'm not even gonna bother crafting the other stuff even though I have the tickets for it. I made the set on console and never used anything but the helm.

It's got wide and plugs but tbh, only the helm seems nice.

To me ALL the gear in this game is very confused, in that they mix and match all sorts of properties that don't seem to make sense and they are undermined by the fact that everything is available in other ways. I haven't really decided whether it all makes sense or whether it's just a mess but at least SOME of the properties of the armour set are extremely useful against Lunastra. A Lunastra build should concentrate somewhat more on defence rather than attack and that's exactly what the armour set does. I am not sure about some of the attack properties though, it uses some weird ones. Anyway, if you try wearing it all, it does actually work pretty well.

it is glowing in the dark what else do you need?

i killed lunastra today with this set, was pretty good. But i dont wear full sets normaly.
Good for building earplugs you dont need to take the bazel parts.
The waist is a pretty efficient defensive piece for health boost and easier roar dodging that easily fits into Drachen builds.
The gloves are the current best Agitator piece on PC, and one free level of EE is almost never a bad thing.
The helm is a straight upgrade to the Wiggler head for wide range builds with one extra slot and one free level of Peak Performance.
The other two pieces are at best alternatives to Bazel pieces if you want to get Earplugs but your head or waist is already used.

I'm using the gloves in my fire bow build, evade extender and lv 3 slot for bow decoration and agitator is a very welcome bonus.

My only beef is that I'd rather use B's double 2-slots over Y's single 3-slot. But that 'glow' ^_^
