Can dudes not wear the Sakura layered armor?

I saw on the event page that the current Lunestra event lets players craft the Sakura layered armor but I haven't seen any videos with dudes wearing it. Is it female only?

I could answer my own question if I could beat it, but I can't solo it and whenever I go in with randos they all cart at the same time when she goes super nova in the first 2 minutes.

Can someone give me some pointers on this? There has to be some way for me to keep my whole team from wiping pre 5 minutes. It's legit a game ender when she goes super nova for the first time.

I started using the ice bow with hopes of putting her away quickly, but she's got like 19k health so that's not gonna happen. Then I went SnS so I could be a heal slut for the bois, but that doesn't matter when she 100 to zero's everyone while we're in roar stun in the center of a clearing so there is no way to outrun the butt-♥♥♥♥♥♥'. Doesn't matter what mantels we're using either, it blows right through all of them.

There's got to be something I can do here. Maybe go horn for earplugs and other buffs at the start then switch to SnS for the rest of the buffs and stay on that for support throughout the fight?

Also if you actually read the announcements you would know Sakura layered armor is not available for PC.

Ironic since you didn't read my post it seems. "I could answer my own question if I could beat it, but I can't solo it."

And the wiki told me it was in the game so that's what I was going off of.

The wiki is made by random people and can be edited by anyone. I just removed the part about Sakura layered armor so nobody gets confused.

If you can't solo her then learn to solo her, because otherwise you're basically just hoping you get carried by 3 other players. There are several guides and counter-builds on the net I could point you to if you need it.

Fextralife is copy pasting from the console page. PC doesn't have the sakura outfit. It would have been in the luna announcement capcom posted weeks ago.

I wouldn't hunt any of the AT monsters with pugs because they tend to be more of a liability. Unless someone is specifically asking for help since I can then brief that person on what he needs to know before the hunt.

I disagree with that. Being good as a team =/= bad but others do all the work. You could be more of a team player than a solo speed runner who just cluster bombs everything alone. That's weird that you'd even say that. MH is meant to be played with others in the first place.

No it's not, lol. This is not a MMO, moreso World that doesn't have gathering hall quests.

If you aren't able to deal enough damage to a monster within 3 carts and you want to heal others so they can do the damage you aren't able to deal, then your goal is to get carried. It's that simple.

Also you don't need clusters to solo monsters (although it's the easiest strat with the lowest skill ceiling that anyone could use). Take a look at what Phemeto does to take AT Luna down in just above 3 minutes with an ice bow:

If you cant solo practise more thats it. No more to say. Teammates are too unreliable unless you got a good team. Search for guides, or something idk. Look up its attack patterns too. I beat Lunastra enough times to get the whole set but I havent got the delivery quest for Sakura armor yet so maybe its a typo. Whos knows
