I can't kill Rathalos. [+EXTREMELY SALTY RANT]

I've used the flash pods, i've used 2 mega bombs + cluster ammo and 2 large bombs on his FCKING HEAD!!! I was able to hit with a perfect shot of Wyvernsnipe 2 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ times!!!!!!!!!!!! I've hit him in the head with 3 shots of wyvern ammo. He just won't die, he won't stop flying around like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ imbecile, sometimes flahsing his face doesn't work!!!!!!!!!!!! And the best part is that i sign a SOS and even though there are 14k people playing, there is literally no one to help me kill this garbage ass monster?? There is also the fact that this is the first monster that i face that it is EXTREMELY agressive + has ridiculously powerful attacks + is ultra fast. My character is a brick, how am i supposed to dodge non-stop his claws? ♥♥♥♥ this game!

Are you using shield mods for your hbg? How upgraded is your armor? Are you using the terrain to your advantage and shooting him while he changes levels? Are you choosing to only fight him in areas that aren't confined?

Edit: What other weapons have you tried on him? Do you have a palico and a tailraider with you? Does your palico have a level 10 shieldspire? Did you know that posting a session ID and asking for help in this forum is more effective than whining?

I've got some unfortunate news for you: Rathalos is the second-weakest of the 4 color variations of his family.

Aside from that, there's basically nothing you can do except use flash pods (as you have), bring herbal medicine to cure poison, buff your health/defense in any way possible, and get better at fighting in general.

Maybe even consider using a different weapon. Some monsters are just plain harder for certain weapons, so changing it up might be just what you need to push through and take him down.

Use your environment. If you see some vines lure rath to it or rocks that can fall then slingshot it.
Use traps
Use Food skills according to your equipments.

If your having a hard time with Rathalos, Be prepared with facing Black Diablos and Kirin, Nergi lol.

Don't rely in wyvernsnipe and the clusterbombs only. You have some other ammos.
If his moving a lot then use paralyze ammo if you have it or even use exhaust ammo.
Learn to attack its weakpoint to do more damage. Look into your hunter notes.

Grab a stick, throw away the useless ammo and turn your HBG into a Gunlance. Gunlance makes all problems go away in spectacular fashion!

Yup. The only tough part about him is when you are a beginner and you don't know how to stop him from leaving areas in the forest. After you figure that out and have a basic understanding of the combat he's very easy.

Fact. Good luck dealing with instant runs and the constant stunlocking of the past games, especially when you couldn't even move while firing.

Use cluster bombs to break its wings. use pierce shot to break hits head . Try to use flash when its not in a rage. use traps when its tired... if you are tank and play alone, having your cat to drop vigor wasp can help.

Oh, I've been there bud. I still remember farming Rathalos for low rank gear. So many carts... Now I still cart every once in a blue moon (this is tempered mind you)
