AT Xeno'jiva's lasers/explosions deal physical damage

Just tested in-game. All of those attacks apply Dragonblight, but are pure physical damage. Socketing in Dragon Resistance does nothing, it only prevents Dragonblight from being applied to you. Dragonproof Mantle is useless against it too.

It only took me one attempt with dragonproof mantle to figure out.

I thought as much. I have been hit in the face a few times and was really wondering if the mantle did anything at all - it certainly didn't seem to. The temporal is excellent but after that nothing seems to work.

Idk about that, dragonproof prevents you from being one shot by the laser just like it does on normal xeno

Don't know about the beam but fireproof mantle nullifies damage from the lava puddles

I'm taking the same damage from the laser/explosions whether I have zero or 90 Dragon Resistance. The only thing that matters is Physical defense.

lance+guard up + 4 ranks of ironwall, with -15 dragon resistance disagrees with you. 0 chip dmg, and minimal stamina damage.

heavy chip dmg from the ground blasty explosions tho. the dragon mantle will help you for those. not the kamehameha tho

My issue with it, is that it was able to oneshot me while I had 675 armor + 200 HP + Rocksteady Mantle Active, I still died...

I was mid-air via Insect Glaive, when he decided to do an AoE Explosion that reached 40 feet into the air, and oneshot me.
