If I miss an event or a major event, will it return.

I know that there will be a witcher 3 cameo event, but if I miss it, will it return. I don't want to spend countless hours in a game just to know that the event will never return.

I think so I can't think of one that hasn't. Could be wrong but most events return.

Yes, all events are on a rotation, so if you miss them, they'll eventually be back. There's also seasonal festivals that bring back all previous events at the same time for their duration.

Yes it will return in seasonal event (spring/summer/autumn/winter)

But I'm not sure the ticket that came with the first cycle of seasonal event will return because there is high chance they will alter the seasonal events in each cycle

Im pretty sure just like the Behemoth, the Witcher event is permanent. The only one that is limited is the Ancient Leshan just like EX Behemoth.

So the Final Fantasy event doesn't go away? I haven't bought this game yet so I'd hate to have missed out.

Nope, Behemoth is a permanent addition. The extra hard version is the one that requires its event to be active.

The events are somewhat rotated on weekly basis with festivals quarterly.

Nope, the extremoth only give you drachen layered armor and either extremely salty attitude or heavenly satisfying feeling for killing him

At the least quarterly, additionally they do events such as "Appreciation Fest" this week just gone which brought back a lot of event quests. Besides that they've had a spring, summer, autumn and winter festival, could potentially be others I've forgotten about.

well there are only 4 seasonal event, cast aside the anniversary events every year
The only missing here is the 15th anniversary of Monster Hunter this March
