Letting us know what happened would be a great starting point. Did Vaal's miasma overwhelm you with damage? Did you just get crushed by Vaal? Were you not able to do enough damage to the monster? What weapon do you typically use? What's your HR? What your gear look like?

A good starting point would be to counter the miasma so it's not ticking away at your health with Miasma Charm III, Miasma Jewel 1 (x3), or Vaal Hazak gear. Since Vaal Hazak is weak to fire or dragon you can pick a weapon that uses those elements or go an elementless build. But without knowing what (or if) your trouble is it's hard to give you a sure fire method.

Effluvia Resistance 3, a lance, and ~12 minutes of your time should do it if you're looking for cruise control.

Effluvia Res 3, Bow, Solo.

effluvia 3 and health aug weapon would be minimum for at vaal.

if you have an elemental build weapon, use fire.

Miasma res, plugs and vitality. Use fire damage, not dragon. SAED does wonders, if you're soloing, bow does wonders, keep in mind everytime hazak roars, and lands both forelegs down there's air pressure.

Sorry, was quite angry yesterday.
I tried using glutton gold cannon with a spread 3 build, didn't work, the dmage wasn't enough, tried sword and shield corona, not that damaging and sometimes he one shotted me with the dash, tried greatsword wyvern ignition, still not enough damage, always had effluvial resistance and tried using the pillars on the ceiling, I don't know, it feels really difficult, he has way too much hp

I personally use LBG. A good strategy is to cycle healing boosters with some maintainence skill going. My group had very little trouble with him aside from getting tail slapped back to camp now and then. But otherwise the boosters trivialise his aura.

Hit it till his hp is 0 is a good strat

Try LS and counter-attack everything. Run out of epic-damage-wtf gas, he will follow you out.
Repeat.

Effuvial Resistance 3 is crucial.

Health Regen augment on weapon is great.

Health Boost 3 with Divine Protection 3 is great.

Fully upgraded augmented armor is good.

Elderseal weapon is helpful.

Take it slow and steady. Don't rush. Don't die. Expect 20 to 30min solo. Drop the pillars on it to speed things up.

Effluvia res, health augment, sit next to his chest, attack.
I recommend a melee weapon for this one. Went down from 12 to 9 mins by switching from HBG to GL.
