What are the optimal build for longsword in this game?
I heard that as a longsword user it is really important to raise attack, weakness exploit and maximum might. But because i am really suck at the game, i was building my setup mainly just on defense skill and ignoring on the element resistance stat. As you can see my defensive stat is +18 but all other resistance is around -1,-3. Is this going to be a problem? Have i messed up my build? I really wanted a long survivalbility long sword build. By the way, i have just passed HR50 so my build are not fully augmented yet.

Defense and resistances suck. If you really want to use a defensive skill, just use health boost since it actually contributes something relevant for defense. As for optimal https://imgur.com/a/R6g8Rkf

meta builds are all damage builds and imply you are able to play the game. They are also usually very deco intensive.
If you really need defense, just pick any of these builds and replace Attack Boost/Crit Eye decos with Health Boost. It will make MT suck but you will still have the best defensive skill in the game.
Just don't sit on the training wheels too much. If you suck with LS maybe you should consider switching weapon too.

Hello, do you know what material drachen armor needed for augmenting?

Resistance and defense play a role but not really much in the latter part of the game(unless you run AT runs)

I would suggest going with a vamp build; I think it's a 4pc vaal hazak set. A simple google search will do the trick. But I'll give you the main skills of the build.

Vamp build basically is HP sustain build. You're typically gonna run; health3, recovery up3, recovery speed3, and peak performance. It's deco heavy BUT the decos you need are common so it's not really gonna be a problem. However, if you don't have a health augment on your weapon, this build might not work.

Bit of advice: I strongly recommend that if you're already good at LS. When you're done using this build, switch to a more offensive one. Having health3 is nice but it teaches you not to dodge(and foresight in your case) and overall teaches you to be clumsy.

Um, the same exact material as any other armor piece?

IIRC it's Gleaming Streamstones and Elder Dragon Bones to remove the armor cap on the Drachen pieces.
