HBG Beginner Build questions

So at this point i've tried various weapons in MHW, got almost every meta build for them and i'm actually looking to get into Heavy Bowguns,specially cluster and spread ones.
Which are the most recomended HBG and builds?

Can't you copy the build from the same place you copied all your other builds? You're asking someone how you should play rather than telling us your preferred play style, so what kind of answer are you expecting? I'm sure there are several different cookie-cutter HBG builds floating about.

they are mostly for console and i also didn't ask how to play,just personal builds,to find something alternative and fun

when it comes to builds we pretty much caught up to console when AT xeno comes out in a few days. only thing we missing are the AT KT weapons and armor.

Besides the KT weapons I'm pretty sure Magda Gemitus(?) (ZM) is the main squeeze for cluster. It has access to high level cluster while also carrying the right type of status ammo to lock the enemy in place.

As for spread I'd say the Magda Gemitus again if you want CC in your hunts. Otherwise the Demolition Fusilade(?) (Nergigante weapon) which carries a whole bunch of spread 3.

As for armor skills it kinda depends on how annoying you think reloading is. I'd say go for the max hp up skill if possible, it's always useful.
Other than that, Xeno set bonus for chance to not consume ammo, artillery for the cluster build, weakness exploit when running spread, evade distance and extender is popular if you like that stuff, although equipping two shield mods on the weapon is usually enough.

a guy posted a decent album so i dont need to repeat anything else lol.

its just practice aiming the bombs and not dying when getting close to use spread shots from here on out, man.

this is for high dps though. if you don't care about dps you can just build whatever. range in general does great in this game, even if you're far from the meta you'll probably outdps most ppl. =p

Magda Gemitus really shines in Kulve phase 4, if you're going for the CC bot role. For Clusters and Sticky spam, Dark Devourer does the job better.
And for essential skills, it's usually Free Element 3 cause more ammo is top priority, followed by Spread/Piercing Shots for their respective builds. Get Taroth Assault Glutton or Gold Glutton Cannon for Spread, Legiana Shattercryst or Taroth Assault Support for Pierce. Also, Mind's Eye gem works wonders on Pierce build.
