You have a real toxic attitude. Seems like every post you have is you shoving your opinions in peoples faces and treating them like facts. Just because you can't do something well doesn't make it bad.
I wouldn't go out of my way to slot in 1 wide range but would rather go for 5 if at all since the range is pretty poor at level 1 meaning I would probably need to hug another hunter to give them the effect.
You can't bring many jerkies, and you can't see the red bar of your teammates (right?) so as already pointed out, if you have anything else to smack into your gear then go for that.
More levels of wide range equals more use as the range increases and it also makes other healing items viable. On level 1 potions, first aids, mega potions and such aren't enough to heal someone back to "safe" health anyway.
