Guiding lands: which zone to fluctuate for tundra?

I have volcanic, coral, and wildspire at 7. I'm thinking about lowering volcanic to 4 and keep coral and wildspire at 7. I have not played the game in a while and I can't remember if volcanic is good or not.

volcanic have many Tempered Elders,you can lower wildspire since most of Tempered Elders can spawn in volcanic,but yeah,if you want Tempered Golden Rathian,then don't lower it

Volcanic have all Tempered Elders in WildSpire and Tempered Rajang

That is false.
Tempered Gold Rath is from Level 7 Wildspire only.
Tempered Silver Rath is from Level 7 Coral only.

To OP, you might want to keep your Volcanic at Level 7 for Tempered Glimmerpelt from Rajang which you need for augmentation slots.
If you want to keep farming health augments (Tempered Namielle and Tempered Silver Rathalos), I'd recommend keeping Coral at level 7 too.

Think about what augments you'll need long term. All upcoming weps will be rarity 12, so you need tempered Namielle parts to do health augments.

Might consider keeping coral lvl7. Tempered namille are required for all rarity 12 health augment. Most probably every weapon needs it except some range.

Tempered grath in wildspire needed for R12 elem augment 3 at x7 per weapon so looking at 90 for just bows and dbs combined. If you don't play any element heavy weapons, you can dump wildspire.

Alternatively dump volcanic cause most people will likely have coral, volcanic, and tundra at 7 so you should be fine there.

Temp Rajang, Brachy, I imagine their new varients, dodo, uragaan, lavasioth, bazelguese. Those are the uniques off the top of my head. Honestly its worth keeping but its what im getting rid of as I am obsessed with the double temp gold and silv rath fight and refuse to give those regions up.

I had level 7 wildspire, 7 coral and 7 volcanic. Lowered wilspire to 1 so that leveling the tundra is easier. I thought tempered grath / srath both spawned in the recess too?

And how many times have you actually lured a gold or silver there when you had it maxed? it doesn't or else it would be a must have region.

Both silver and gold rathians spawn there, they are actually of middling rarity, they just cant be tempered.

Yes they do spawn there, but they are NON-tempered.
Tempered Gold = Wildspire
Tempered Silver = Coral

i plan to dump my wildspire region for tundra, got volcano and coral maxed, wildspire is stuck at 5ish so i might as well level that down to 1 once my rotten hits 2 so i can do the same. then pure focus on tundra levels.
