There was an issue in the past with the mod loader which didn't triggered the cutscenes correctly

After that I've used the cheat table from Marcus101RR, you can find it on nexus mod.
It has a function called "Force Selected Quest", you put this code: 51601 (it's the rajang special assignment id) and then you start a random quest, that allows you to re-do the quest. Watch the first scene and then following the assistant watch the second one.
Now you can leave the quest, you've unlocked the vulcano area and you can search rajang on sos.
removing every mod also includes the modloader

You haven't done your MR 49, 69, or 99 quests to unlock the higher levels in Guiding Lands, that's all there is to it. Instead of blaming the game, blame your inneptitude

Then he's using mods that screwed up his save, this literally is not a bug that has happened in the game, on PS4 or PC.

Remove any mods you are using, if you aren't using mods, remove any mods that you won't admit you are using.

Unless maybe the owners set them to invite only, but doubtful there too

i did use 1 mod, it was only a transmog mod, but i did remove that mod for a couple of weeks ago..

Can you go into your own guiding lands? What is the max you can level it up to? There is likely some important bit of information you are not giving us that would explain it. Exhaust all possibilities before you blame the game for the issue, cause most of the time it is user error

Sounds like you haven't fought Rajang yet, and you don't even know the levels of the unlocking quests, and of course you used a mod. All 3 indicators that you are blaming the game for something that is your own fault. Look at yourself before calling someone else a dumbass

well, it says pretty much as i said, "you cant join this quest bcoz you have not progressed enough."

And i know thats wrong, bcoz i done every single quest, well not every single optional, but i done all vanilla and iceborne main quests and the special assignment ones and guided lands, including "Return of the Crazy One" and "the Ends With You"

Looks like you haven't unlocked Rajang yet, which answers your question right there

If you haven't done "reveal thyself, destroyer", then you can't join people who have

i have fought rajang... thats even very early in the guided lands intro..
And ofc i dont know the exact lvls for the quests bcoz thats when they unlocked for me, guided lands lvl 5 cap was unlocked at mr 53 for me, the guided lands lvl cap 7 at mr 66 and the last at 99

No, Rajang is not early in the guiding lands, you have to do a specific quest chain, and then talk to people in Seliana for it to be considered complete and unlocked, so go talk to everyone in Seliana again

well even if its not early or late, i do know i have fought him before, it was from a purple question mark which is the special assignments

Did you also talk to the Admiral afterwards and unlock the Volcanic region?
