How hard is doing extreme Behemoth with MR gear?

Much easier than with HR gear, the only thing u still need to overcome is a ecliptic meteor

It's not really as hard as before obviously, but he still hits pretty hard even if you have high defense so don't think like you are invincible just because MR armor, but if you have nice DPS weapon from iceborne the hunt pretty much will over way faster even if you join up with HR players..

Pretty easy IF AND ONLY IF everyone knows what they are doing:

You'll need someone who can hold argo, then a healer OR several people who carry Life of Dust.

In the extreme version, the 3 flash only mechanic holds as for tempered monster. So the way to stop him casting Tornado and filling the entire zone is by someone grabbing Argo. Soon as Behemoth turns red on someone, he will stop spamming Tornado.

The person holding argo will just have to stay alive while the other 3 dps the hell out of Behemoth and heal the tank when necessary.

Beware of the boulder, pull Behemoth away from it (otherwise Behemoth WILL Destroy it). If the Boulder is destroyed, cross you finger that everyone knows how to use the Final Fantasy Jump to dodge the Eciliptic Meteor.

Final Zone (zone 4) is a little bit tricky, you'll want consistent DPS as EX Behemoth will cast Eciliptic Meteor 3 times! If you DPS too much, he can cast one Eciliptic Meteor right after another without summoning a boulder in the process.

Mechanically it's the same. But because you do more damage, the fight moves on much more smoothly.

Yes, moves will hurt you less, But getting cornered by a tornado, Or having behemoth do double slap 5 times to unlucky lonely comet over there because some mook hasn't moved from the spot? That won't change.

So if you have no idea how behemoth works you will still wipe... But if you used to get to the bare end and choke? chances are you can get a better result because you can spank him up before too many tornadoes exist.

Or... you can just fight behemoth the right way... And have someone make him angry, and then beat him up like that... It's way easier lol.

Its really easy, you can practically just have a team of all DPS that are all packing life powder to do it now.

Easy, so easy that people forget all about ecliptic meteor and keep attacking without memorizing the boulder placement and die when behemoth casts it

Ahahah, never try did it because his armor with iceborne seems to be pretty useless, or so they say, but i'll do it just for fun and for the layer armor.

I've tried about 5 times since Iceborne came out and have yet to succeed. Morons still refuse to move away from the rocks so they get destroyed. They still die to ecliptic meteor. They still get killed by Behemoth's regular attacks.

You will need to either get lucky finding decent players, or solo it.
