Silver Rathalos?
I'm level 71 MR and Coral level 6, according to internet now there is a chance for me to see Silver Rathalos in the guiding lands. My question is, do I have to do something special like roaming and finding random silver rathalos tracks or just wait for him to appear on the map as ??? maybe. Is there any other trick to speed up the process? Thank you!

Do event quest .

You can also get random lures for Silver Rathalos by completing investigations in Guiding lands (aka kill/capture/destrioy parts) otherwise it's just a random spawn in Coral

Besides the event quest that's available, there's not much you can do besides keep jumping between locales and checking if he spawned, or searching for other people that might have him listed as the monster they're hunting.

Or look for turf war signs.

oh there is an event quest for it? Never realized that, hope he is solo :P Thank you guys!

You are looking for him, right? If you haven't met him yet, he won't appear on the map - you have to discover him first, or find some tracks so your Scoutflies know he exists. Then you'll get a ??? and eventually you'll just know if he's present. By this I mean the game won't notify you he's present, it'll act like there's only two monsters currently roaming around, etc.

You can also try fast travelling between regions checking your Guiding Lands in the world map, if it has "???" present, it's a good chance it'll be one of the Region specific monsters you are looking for.

You should also consider just doing the Event quests to unlock them in your Hunter's Log, and then you should be able to search for Investigations with them as the target - by now, there will be plenty of people with 'em.

You could also just keep collecting turf wars and fighting monsters until you generate a lure for one, it shouldn't take too long if you're not specifically watching for that one lure, they have a way of building up while you grind for other things.

Failing all of that, you can simply wait until you are MR 125 and you should get a quest to fight 'em both nearly at the same time. Not sure if you need knowledge of them to be able to get that quest, but yeah.

You have to be MR 100 for him to start showing up

I just do the event quest for him, I didn't know there was event quest for him. I thought he was hard boss tho, I got him pretty easy and fast. Maybe it's because its an event quest.

You can get him to show up if your Coral is level 6 or above. For tempered, yours must be 7.

You get him by:

Random spawns in Guiding Lands
Lures in Guiding Lands
Events in Elder Recess
Investigations in Elder Recess
Optional (MR 125+)

Now do the event for Gold Rathian.

That's false. Silverlos appears at MR70+ in level 6 coral or volcanic region in GL. If you have trouble finding silverlos in GL try to join someone with the correct region level and ask them to lure. Most of the time they will unless they don't haves lures in my experience.

Hunt 100 monsters in GL.
All kind of monsters will pop up. Your lure list will become super long as well.

Check between quests if GL has a ? monster in there, that's gonna be it then.

Check the Guiding Lands for a ??? monster, then head to the Coral area and pick up his tracks. He'll be in the slope area. Try to get enough tracks to unlock him in your hunter notes, then once you're done with him send the palicos out to the Elder's Recess. They'll hopefully pick up investigations for him. If not, follow T3 monsters around in the Guiding Lands and collect their tracks since Silver/Gold Rath are on the same tier.
