What mods do you use
I use "helloworld" or as nexismods calls it, "an overlay with lots and lots of stuff". It allows me to see the monster's hp, status effects. Some might call it "cheating" but it helps me know how long the fight is going to last.

Handler face model and texture tweaks.
Hunter face texture.
Others I don't bother with due to needing Stracker's loader and needing to update that after a game update.

i dont even bother using damage meter mod anymore because after using it for over 50 or so multiplayer hunts i already know that im going to do more dps than everyone else in my group combined every single time

None, although I've seen someone who had a mod that made him do the "quick take" animation for every gather, including bonepiles and mining spots, and especially the reason why I'm interested in it, monster tracks. Whereas I'm on my knees collecting scratches and violent gashes, this guy ran by and just quickly scooped them up and ran on. Saw him taking from a mining resource later on without mining it, just grabbing it lol.

Seems like a very good quality of life mod, removing the animations to speed stuff up. I'd probably be interesting in using it if I bothered using mods, but I haven't used any in Iceborne at all yet, and back in the base game I only used that one mod that changed Astera flags to be national flags, mostly for the meme and because a harbour / shipyard / colony town thing looks amazingly aesthetic with British flags flying everywhere, lol.

I hope someone makes one for Iceborne areas.

Someone made me a Beetle + scarf Layered. Probably will be the only mod I'll always use.

Gimme. I am pretty sure I have 100h tallied on the ground sniffing monster-feces in-game.

-MHW condensed weakness
-Monster weakness icon indicator for iceborne
-Classic MH SFX pack
-Camera Distance Change for iceborne (200)
-Change the color after destroy the parts
-Cuter handler face model
-Natural Resource (makes it so that bone piles and ore in GL has actual proper color)
-Immersive Item Information
-Dropped Items efx
-Health Notes (plugin for strackers, more immersive than hw/smarthunter and doesn't require any overlay, basically pops up a message ingame at certain health thresholds and you can configure it easily to change them or add new thresholds. I got it at 75%, 50%, 25% and 10%)

HelloWorld for Monster HP, quest timer and buff duration bars.

Souvenir's Light Pillar for making shiny drops more noticeable.

An AHK script for binding all the action bar items to individual keys so I don't need to deal with different action bar pages. I also used my keyboards lighting software to change the colours of my keys to the colours of the items they're bound to.

Souvenirs Light Pillar, Cuter Handler (lol almost everyone seems to have this one), various armor tweaks and other aesthetic mods...nothing that changes the logic of any of the game loops or power values for any weapons items or equipment.

"Remove fog from the Guiding Lands when Elder dragons spawn" and "Dropped Item Identifiers" are what they are called, I think;
The big one for me is the fog removal because you sometimes cant see ♥♥♥♥ in the GL when an elder spawns

Could that be settings problem? Because I don't notice any kind of dog in GL whenever elder spawns though.
