their is no best gear, it's more about mix matching to level the skills up

That's a bit difficult because you need to focus on the gear buffs. Depending on what weapon, crit chance and element you use may make one peice of gear less desired. No point in adding crit if your weapon has -30 % affinity, etc.
Go for skills that sound good/ helpful for your playstyle.

No one armor set is perfect for each hunt. You should equip what best suits the current hunt you are embarking on. Ex: fire resistant gear when fighting an ED like Teostra.

Armors become more dependable once you have upgraded them to their max .

up until you get anjanath bone and Ore is fine up and till after anjanath focus on an armour that works for you and aim for that, weapns are a different matter weapons you have to optimise for different fights allow ice and lightning are the best all round damage types.

Dragonking eyepatch, any pieces with offensive skills for your weapon.

MH is not the same as the average MMO in terms of armors, and weapons. There are no end all be all weapons and armors, because every armor gives you different kinds of skills that works well with different type of weapons and different type of elemental resistence and elemental weaknesses. The best way to answer these types of question is to work on getting high rank armors and weapons.

according to a lot of videos, kulve turroth has best equipment that is above normal gear

I haven't bothered to look at all these equipments, but looking up Kulve Taroth alpha and beta versions of the armor, I could already see it has a strong elemental weakness against ice which is -20 so if you're up against something powerful with ice attacks, you may get into trouble, that and also -10 for both ice and water which is not all that bad, but they're still weaknesses.

But again, Capcom made MH so that there is no bestest of the best amors, or bestest of the best weapon. You have to figure out what combination of equipments you like for any situtations you face

high rank Arena token armor is a good thing to get as soon as possible. atleast 4 pieces.

the great luck skill bonus can be useful for farming materials for other monsters later on and is reletively easy to make.

i mix them up to reduce the elemental debuff, obviously wearing 3 of the one i want the armor stats from, its just me being too lazy to swap armor.

It depends almost entirely on what weapon you're using and what you're trying to accomplish during a hunt. There are no 'must have' sets, only builds that revolve around your playstyle.

Leather and Chain. You literally cannot get very far into the game unless you have these.

Everything else is situational, fashion, or just personal preference.

I can make a weapon with -30 crit have 40% crit using perks like Weakness Exploit and other perks, while also keeping stuff like Peak Performance and health regen to have no downtime, max damage, and crit potential on the monster.

Just gotta know how to build brah

DK eyepatch is what i mostly use. The rest depends on monsters. Different loadouts are pretty usable!
PandaCombo Aug 15, 2018 @ 2:10pm
Yea i want different loadouts :s but you cant have all items ingame right ? the inventory is only 5 sites and i need some for weapons as well :o and mixxing the armors looks so damn ugly *-* so im still using my bone armor since i dont know which armor to get :D
