People joining and not helping
This is such an issue right now, people join SOS flares, raising the difficulty of the hunt and they run around and collect amterials rather than helping.

Is there no option to kick people?

That sucks. I haven't had a single person do that after the dozens and dozens of SOS I've responded to. :(

I've joined people to help out and grind materials. The one time I used my SOS flare I got DC'd..
lol

I thought other people were having this problem, seems to happen quite a lot

I must be the unlucky one :(

There is an option to kick people. Though only the leader/the one that fired the sos flare can. It's in the menu tab but iirc if you kick someone, the slot is already filled regardless.

Also more pain in the a... is people interrupting you while you try to collect materials from dead monster during the 60sec countdown. Especially frustrating on some harder end game monsters.

Don't use SOS flares. Aside from constant disconnect issues, multiplayer with randoms is completely unplayable. There's too many people who do nothing but gather materials, don't know how to use their weapons and keep hitting their teammates, die all the time because they have no idea how to fight a monster, or in general have no damn idea what to do at all. You absolutely need a dedicated group of people if you want to achieve anything at all in co op.

Multiplayer is not your playground or training space. Multiplayer is for people who want to hunt together as a team. If you want to be a useful member of the team, learn how to play this game first.

I second that; I think they need to come up with anti-trolling penalty for not interrupting when people carving material during 60sec countdown ESPECIALLY after a hard fight.

The console version has already made it impossible to trip people who carve. Too bad the devs are incompetent and the PC port does not have such basic and important fix already in place.

What if you are really bad and I decide you don't deserve the carve?

When I join someone's session, I am the guy who always brings traps.

Then you are an аss lol
It's better to just kick the person after the fight :steamhappy:

I actively leave my game session open when I'm doing something IRL so I can come back and kick people that are trying to start a quest. You should be able to kick them if you open the start menu then view the players in your lobby and select TurdMaster69420 and boot 'em though. Its great fun.

You are the hero the Pugs need but prepare for the guy who made a forum post crying about the 1 min time limit for completing a quest to make a discussion about you too should you get him lmao

I wish I could actually play co-op. Right now it's a 60$ disconnect simulator. 15 hours and I'm only level 5. Any ETA on when this will be a co-op game?

One of the food buffs stop stagger when carving
Hehe, sounds like what my friend did. I did a signal flare to help with Rathian. My friend decided to go fight Diablos instead. XD He did that until I yelled at him to come help. I mean...I could've done it by myself but...he wanted to come and help and get his bounty done for wyvern kills but he ran off to fight Diablos.

If it was just an expedition, I would've switched targets but it was a mission for Rathian. And he kept dying to Diablos and making it almost fail my mission XD

But...does the monster go back to the same amount of HP for a solo person if the other person leaves or does it stay the multiplayer version of it? Because that could be a problem too.
