Useful armor against Legiana?

Hi there,

I have some problems killing Legiana so I want to upgrade to better armor as I didn't really do much about that in a while. I'm just not sure, if I need ice or dragon resistance on it - or both.

Thought about getting the High Metal set.
Playing with the HBG if that matters.

Any tips?

u need ice resistance but legiana ice attacks are easy to dodge, i beat him first try with 2 anja armor (ice -6) and jyura switch axe. idk how HBG works, just bring fire and thunder ammo (his most weakness)

Do bounties and upgrade your armor. With the max armor upgrades you shouldn't have a problem with her. It doesn't matter a whole lot if you're using rarity 1 or rarity 3 armor at that point, as long as you pump it full of armor spheres.

What's your current armor loadout?

Also: general tips... Bring flashpods and nulberries. Flashpods for when she's flying, and nulberries if you contract iceblight.

I'm not in the game right now, but quite sure, that I'm using the Bone Armor Set - I think just a single part is something else.

in low rank, just keep upgrading your armor with a random piece that has higher defense. sets don't matter until you get to high rank, which is much later

pure defense will get you through low rank pretty fast, provided you learn monster patterns quickly

There should actually be some nulberry plants around the plateau she likes to hang out at. If you're having trouble getting flashpods, there are a bunch of flashbugs you can trap down in that mushroom area where the Coral Highlands Flasher (Tzitzi-Ya-Ku) likes to hang out.

Lagiana armor is the best against Lagiana: I've farmed it in Coral Highlands expeditions through SOS system before doing the quest.
