Item bar resetting?!

Any way to stop that?
Im getting really sick and tired of having to manually move a dozen items around mutliple times per hunt.

Is there any way to lock it or make a instant-load preset?

When you save a preset of items (not equipment/armor, but items in your bag) it should save the item bar&radial menu in accordance to that. So if you don't overwrite the preset all the changes you make to the itembar/radial menu will reset. Hope that helps.

If you're taking an item set it resets all of your item bar and radial stuff to whatever it was when that was saved. To prevent this, make your ideal item set, item bar configuration and radial wheel whateverthehell and then save the item set.

I understannd it was even worse in previous games, but yes I really wish we could set Wheel and D-pad order while in our tent.

Makes me feel like I've forgotten my keys every time I make an item set, leave my tent or town item chest, then go right back in it again once I've set order.

Mildly related, OP if you have not yet, change your quick wheel optons to "click right stick to use" instead of the default. It makes the item wheel a million times more practical.

Wow, this came back.

Yeah, so Iv switched the radial menu(which is not what I used to use) to the K&M one and actually starting using it. Loving that. It also hasnt had any reset issues.
But unrelated or otherwise the little item menu I was talking about hasnt reset since.

Weird whimsical system but I like where Im at now. So Imma carefully not poke the beast.
