Best way to destroy legiana's wings?

i'm using a greatsword right now. i need to get those damn wings so i can finish my legiana armor set

flash pod him when hes in the air, then chop his wings off.

If you're having trouble actually hitting the wings then bring some traps, mount him, and/or have your Palico bring the flashfly cage. They will occasionally put down a shock trap instead.

there is no better way tbh, especially when you are a GS user the only way is use tools like flash pod and traps as others mentioned, then go ham on wings.
