Error Code : 50382 -MW1
I have had to play this game almost entirely solo because of this error.

My friend and I are both getting the same issue.
We bought it to play together!!!
Is there any fix for this?
Also port forwarding is not relevant to me because my router is reasonably new and supports UPNP ofc.

So far for me and my friends it seems to only disconnect us when we try and do the story quests together. Expeditions and repeatable quests seem to work fine. Not sure if anyone else has the same thing happening.

I really hope they fix this soon it really sucks. Especially since I cant host a quest for a monster that my friend has to fight alone in his story first. And it its a tough one I really wish I could help.

I bought this game twice. One for me and one for my nephew and we got this problem everytime. Can CAPCOM fixed this?

Portforwarding is useless if you have UPNP settings.....

UPNP has to be supported and used by the software as well.

So should i turn UPNP on and ignore port forwarding?

Already got ports open but I still receive this every now and then. I think it's the servers being ♥♥♥♥♥♥ more than the players having issues on their end.
Ami Aug 12, 2018 @ 7:16am
it cant be ports. because all was fine; this ♥♥♥♥ started like few hours ago.

Joke is that we don't know if MonHun uses UPNP.
Atleast on my Machine there are no calls UPNP from Monhun.

the issue is related to the servers going into meltdown, I guess Capcom had no idea that they were going to have so many concurrent users and thus hugely underestimated their server infrastructure needs.

Servers are the problem.. I can play every other Steam game I own online and no problems at all

What seems to have finally worked for me, if it helps was (OBS: I play in a laptop):

I have wifi and cable connected at the same time and turning off my wifi seems to have fixed it. I think that it was skipping between both connections and turning off the wifi stabilized my connection.

Doesn't work - Error still comes up when attempting to join general matchmaking, or listed online sessions.

Try going to steam settings, In-game tab, at the bottom where it says matchmaking browsing ping change it to 250.
