Performance Issues with 1070 Ti
just wondering if anyone else with a similar build gets the same performance as me. i get average 55 fps in the Ancient Forest on mid settings, with foliage sway off. drops are low as 48 when in combat in the biggest open area. for now everywhere else is pretty much 60+ but ancient forest has fps drops that i dont think i should be having with my specs on mid graphics settings. heres my full specs:
GTX 1070 Ti
i5 7600k @ 4.2ghz
16GB 2400hz RAM
Msi Z270 Mobo

my temps are all well under the danger level.

This game could be better 100% for how it looks performance wise. Turn off volume rendering quality in advance settings I get like 95-130 fps now with 1080ti with that off and everything else max (it removes the fog)

It's really weird, i got 60 FPS on average with a 1070 non TI, a I7 4970 and 12GB of "terrible" RAM. There are some drops to 55, some to 49 (quite rare). My settings is a mix between high and medium

GTX 1070Ti
AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor
16gigs RAM

I'm running the game at max settings with 60FPS 95% of the time. It drops to around 55 in the most intense areas, with rain, three monster, and four hunters.

Have you upgraded your nvidia drivers to the newest? If yes, downgrade them back to 398.39 (newest is 398.82). 398.39 is the previous one and runs much better for many people (even if the newst is especially made for MHW). It gave me a good fps boost but especially fixed the hard drops (from drops to 30fps my biggest drops are down to 50fps now)

1070 Ti
Ryzen 7 2700X
16 GB 3200 MHz (customised timings)

Game runs smooth, had a few FPS dorps here and there but nothing major, if i put a stream on on my other monitor the game tanks a little bit but still perfectly fine. 95% of the time 60FPS.

The game is CPU heavy so if your CPU is getting tanked then your GPU will perform worse. Like past suggestions though, turn off the volumetric ♥♥♥♥.

that's cause op has volumetric rendering turned on, it's a ♥♥♥♥ option, supposed to add lighting but it only adds fog, lighting doesn't change

Have you disabled the volumetric rendering? Without that I get ~80fps @1080p with msi 1070ti on i5 4690 4,5ghz

I get over 90 fps on nvidia GTX 1070 ti but without v-sync. With V-sync enable, it still dips under to 50s. I'm pretty much used to hit now. This is something you just have to accept.
