Quick Slot Items

How do you set quick slot items with a keyboard and mouse, and how do you select the diagonal items? I don't want to switch to a controller just to play a game that is supposed to be fixed for PC users to play.

I don't think you can select the diagonal items with kb+m, pretty poorly implemented. Personally I'd like to be able to bind certain items to 1,2,3,4,5, ... etc and just have a little quick item bar. The item menu is very clunky for PC.

Haven't tried with keyboard but if you go to options ingame under items and Equipment there's Radial Menu Type and you can select Keyboard there instead of Gamepad. No idea how it works

There is an options to change the radial dial to work better with pc players, so you can press f1-f4 then 1-8 to select items instead of pressing and holding one button and click left or right mouse button to switch between items then press another button to use it

As Pheace says, change the Radial Menu Type to Keyboard. It changes everything to a linear format, using the Function keys and number keys to trigger the items.

Thank you, that makes the game a lot better. Should've been the default option on PC imo if you have no controller plugged in.
