Mouse acceleration [FIXED]
Yesterday I whined about bad mouse controls, but after fiddling with the config and the in-game settings I seemed to get the mouse to a very responsive level, with almost no input lag, delay, acceleration, smoothing, whatever.

idk what fixed it or all 3 steps helped it, buuut
what I did:
- edited the config and put MouseBaseSpeed=0.000000
- turned off v-sync
- turned off aim assists

after doing those 3 steps, my mouse is very responsive.
hope it helps others, cheers.

I can confirm the first fix does not work. (from K3NK)
if you move your mouse very slowly, camera does not move

If I were to describe this issue it feels like playing on a LED TV with high input lag. If anyone has tried that. Thats exactly what the camera feels like.

Negative mouse acceleration + sort of inertia (gamepad emulated)

try this

My Only Issue no is the slow down at the end of a mouse movement. the camera tries to catch up. it kind of annoying. Trying to find a good offset for it

I believe you, I'm searching a solution for me and the others players with the same pb.

Did what OP described, ingame I made mousespeed 57. It's nice now.

Hard to believe you even need to do that. Theres like 200k people putting up with these horrible design choices.

199k smart people using gamepad and not giving an F about KBM for a game designed for controller. 1k people trying to get an input configuration a game wasn't designed for to conform to their inability to adapt.

You are really trying to hard to be edgy man.

are you sure that remove the negative acceleration ? (when you move your mouse very fast, it is very slow).

Because for the moment I :
-Set mouse speed to 80 in game
-Edited the ini MouseBaseSpeed=1.000000
-DPI on my mouse 1000

it is "almost perfect" : the pb is , If I move slowly, there is NO camera movement on screen, yes, I move my mouse but no movement !!!! -_-'
But there is no more negative acceleration (it is here but can't notice).

I'll try your tweak, thanks for sharing
The lower you make your ini mousebasespeed, the larger the deadzone is (IE the faster you have to move your mouse to get the camera to move).

The game is using the mouse to emulate a joystick, and they included a deadzone, max turn speed, and minimum turn speed because apparantly they hate happiness.

There is not going to be any settings that fix all of these issues.

Lowering the mousebasespeed setting is good for extending the range between the max and minimum turning speeds - this makes the mouse feel more responsive. It also increases the range between the mouse being completely still and the end of the deadzone - which means slow movements with the mouse are ignored. The best you can do is fiddle with it until you are happy with the deadzone size and the size between min-max speed. There is no real fix right now.

I really recommend just using a controller while hoping that they patch in proper mouse support.

They just have to do something about the dead zone... a mouse doesn't need a dead zone.

Best settings for me :

> MouseBaseSpeed=1.000000

> In game mouse speed : 80

> 1000 DPI

> (my screen res) 1080p

Remember BAITness advice :
More MouseBaseSpeed = LESS dead zone & More Negative Acceleration
Less MouseBaseSpeed = MORE dead Zone & Less Negative Acceleration

It is not accurate Because negative acceleration does not change for real, just the "range"
